Earl Read for State Representative
I am a 25 year resident of Coventry. I look forward to meeting and speaking with residents.
Great day in West Warwick with Representative Thomas E. Noret meeting residents and gaining support. I enjoy listening to their concerns and comments and look forward to this opportunity.
As I was out walking today meeting residents I was stopped in my tracks on a front walk and realized this is why I want to WIN this ! It’s all about stepping up and representing people. Let’s go get this Representative Seat
Excited to continue canvassing this week. I will also be completing my next “ASK THE CANDIDATE“ video at the end of the week. Please either submit your question below as a comment, email me @ [email protected] or simply ask me at the door or when you see me!
Something new and exciting: “Ask the Candidate” video segments. Thank you to my daughter Susan for helping me.
District 2 …make sure you stop by to meet and support these candidates.
Private Event for Coventry Residents!
It was a pleasure to gain another supporter yesterday. What an awesome 20 minute conversation at the door followed up with a selfie with the Stars and Stripes. This 95 year old resident reminded me how special it is to build relationships within the District.
I’m proud to stand behind and support this man for our Town Council ! 64 years of Coventry commitment CANNOT and WILL NOT be beaten ! His quote of the night “I ABSOLUTELY love this Town.”
District 26 …Healthcare concerns???? Be sure to stop by the Coventry Resource and Senior Center tomorrow.
“Lunch with the Candidate” at Monsignor Deangelis was great! I enjoyed listening to concerns and was overwhelmed by their support. Shoutout to Representative Thomas E. Noret for joining me and assisting. Listening, assisting, and protecting senior citizens is another main component of my campaign.
7 miles…13 streets…..143 doors….91 degrees…MANY GREAT CONVERSATIONS. I’m committed to this campaign for our District and PUTTING THE WORK IN.
One of the main components of my platform is public safety. This morning I attended a press conference MADD Rhode Island for the newly passed RI LOOKBACK law which increases the period to 10 years for repeat DUI offenders. I couldn’t help but relive all the horrible crashes I responded to as I drove through the City of Warwick this morning to the event. EXCELLENT work by ALL partners.
From day one of this campaign senior citizens have been a main component of my platform. Excited for this event this week. If you know ANYONE who lives at the Manor please remind them to attend and Lunch with the Candidate !
I attended an AMAZING meeting at the Coventry Resource and Senior Center today and gained an enormous amount of information to share with the residents of D26. Director Robillard and ALL staff, your commitment to our community is exceptional. I look forward to informing our residents. Check out the July newsletter.

Honored to attend and support State Senate Candidate Pete Appollonio Jr tonight at his event. It was nice to see the support behind him. Pete has served the community his entire life!

Take a moment today to reflect on the heroes of June 6th, 1944 🇺🇸
Excellent work Representative Thomas E. Noret . Your passion for D25 and the whole community is noticeable.
The House of Representatives today passed legislation introduced by Rep. Thomas E. Noret (D-Dist. 25, Coventry, West Warwick) that would make it a felony to threaten school officials.
The bill (2024-H 7303) would amend an existing law that makes it a crime to threaten to take the life of, or to inflict bodily harm upon, a public official or a member of his or her immediate family because of the performance or nonperformance of some public duty.
“There is a highly-charged, sometimes toxic culture in schools today, where a lot of hostility is directed toward school officials,” said Representative Noret, who served for 20 years as a Coventry police officer. “Teachers and administrators are used to all kinds of verbal abuse from students — and even parents. But we have to draw the line at threatening the health and safety of educators, and we have to do it now while this behavior is becoming commonplace.”
