**The Sweet Bond Between a Big Sibling and Their Little Sister**
The bond between a big sibling and their little sister is pure and heartwarming. Itβs filled with play, learning, giggles, and cuddles. From the moment she was born, the big siblingβs world changed, starting a journey of friendship and care.
**Tiny Protector**
The big sibling naturally becomes the protector, holding her hand, keeping her safe on the playground, and offering hugs and reassuring smiles when she feels unsure.
**Little Lessons and Big Discoveries**
The big sibling loves sharing their knowledge, teaching new words, building with blocks, and helping with shoes. These interactions boost confidence and foster a sense of accomplishment.
**Playtime Partners**
Their bond shines during playtime, whether building forts, playing with dolls, or creating imaginary worlds. These moments are filled with creativity, laughter, and magical memories.
**Learning to Share and Care**
The big sibling learns valuable lessons in sharing and empathy, while the little sister learns to trust and rely on them.
**Unconditional Love**
Their love is pure and unconditional, expressed in hugs, giggles, and the way they light up when they see each other. This love creates a secure and lifelong bond.
**In Conclusion**
The bond between a big sibling and their little sister is a beautiful blend of play, learning, and love. As they grow, their connection deepens, creating a treasure trove of memories and a strong, unshakeable bond.
I think the kids approve of the new rug. π
So a couple of months ago we started redecorating. I was finishing work at 7/8 coming home and painting until midnight. It was such a relief to get the painting finished and so satisfying to see the results of our hard work.
We swapped rooms so the kids have more space and then built 3 new beds along with so many other bits of new furniture.
Iβve now moved onto redoing the garden but weβre still finding new bits to do indoors.
Shannon found this rug in and it goes so well with the living room.
Also has anyone had a shaggy rug and found the hoover just doesnβt pick anything up? Itβs one of the reasons we got rid of the previous one.
Iβd like to say weβre done but thereβs always something that would look nice somewhere. π

After such a long break I thought it would be a good time to do an introduction/reintroduction.
Iβm Aaron. Dad to Alfie, Ellie, Olivia & stepdad to Leo.
I love being a Dad, thereβs nothing better and itβs something Iβve wanted to be for so many years. I love every moment, getting to watch the children grow up and discover the world and sharing the joys of life with them truly makes me feel so lucky.
My instagram started out as a sort of scrapbook for me to look back on all of the memories with the children, Iβve met some amazing people along the way and had the chance to work with some great brands which Iβm forever grateful for.
I try to share what life is like as a co-parent and as part of a blended family. Iβm honest about the ups and downs and try to share some of my best tips to navigate parenthood. I also try to add a bit of humour because whatβs life without a laugh or two.
So to old followers and new welcome to my world. π€
Boys will be boys π¦π»π¦πΌ
The boys have this need to climb everything at the moment, Alfie is definitely the worst of them though. π
This is them sat on top of the play house, I think I see the danger a lot more than they do. I also see their baby sister copying everything they do. π€¦π»ββοΈπ
Anyone else have a couple of monkeys in the family? π
Itβs been a whileβ¦
What a busy few months itβs been, work, decorating and just enjoying all of the little moments with my gang my instagram has taken a back seat.
Iβve missed posting on here and missed having my little βscrapbookβ of moments to look back on, much easier than sorting through thousands of photos on my phone.
Happy Mothers Day. π

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences life has to offer. From the moment you hold your child for the first time, you realize that your heart is no longer yours - it belongs to this little person who depends on you for everything.
There are days when you feel like you have it all together, and then there are days when you feel like you're barely keeping your head above water. But through the tears, the tantrums, and the messes, there are also countless moments of joy, wonder, and love that make it all worth it.
Watching your child take their first steps, hearing their first words, and seeing the world through their curious eyes is like rediscovering the magic of life all over again. And as they grow older, you get to be their guide, their mentor, and their biggest cheerleader.
Being a parent is a journey that never ends, but it's a journey that's worth every step of the way. To all the parents out there, keep going. You're doing an amazing job, even on the days when it doesn't feel like it. And to all the kids out there, thank you for making our lives brighter, richer, and more meaningful than we ever thought possible.
Being a parent is like being a superhero. You have the power to make your child feel safe, loved, and protected, no matter what the world throws their way. You have the ability to teach them, to inspire them, and to help them become the best version of themselves.
But being a parent also means being vulnerable. It means opening your heart to a love that is both fierce and fragile, and facing the fear that comes with knowing that you can't always protect your child from the ups and downs of life.
Despite the challenges, being a parent is the most rewarding job in the world. Every moment spent with your child is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to create memories that will last a lifetime. From the silly jokes to the serious talks, from the quiet moments to the loud ones, every experience you share with your child is a precious gift.
To all the parents out there, never forget the incredible impact you have on your child's life. Your love, your guidance, and your support will shape who they become, and they will carry your influence with them long after they've grown up. And to all the kids out there, know that your parents love you more than anything in the world, and they will always be there for you, no matter what.
