Gonna be a long winter
After a 2+ year process of dealing with a bum shoulder I finally got it fixed. Was told it was a torn labrum from an mri but the surgeon found a rotator cuff that was a mess too.
Just glad that I should be out of pain and discomfort after 2 years
Road to recovery starts!

The layout on this really challenged me to get the deck properly center led on the pool. Also a very big deck as well.

Having your dropped valley rafter fit perfectly on the first go is a definite way to end the week. Timber frame and hand cut roof is taking shape quickly.

Sometimes measuring an inside mitre to inside mitre is much more accurate but marking it out is another thing.
Here’s a trick I came up with to accurately mark it on your material.
This could come in handy for trim

Had to remove some old worn out concrete piers to replace with new ones in slightly different spots. Instead of digging them out came up with using falcons and a lever and then a jack. Work smarter not harder. @ Ottawa, Ontario
