JUST IN | The visit of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the University of Northern Philippines (UNP).

Earlier today, September 13, 2023, with the presence of the University President, Dr. Erwin Cadorna, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rolando Navarro, our college dean, Ar./EnP Fatima Nicetas Alonzo, Program Head of Environmental Planning, Ar./EnP Ludivina Lozano, faculty members, and the PIEPSA officers, we warmly welcomed the PRC representative, Ms. Gladys Reyes, on her visit to the university particularly the College of Architecture. Via Zoom meeting, the other representatives were also present.

Today, September 12, 2023, the PIEPSA officers took their time and efforts in designing the bulletin board showcasing past activities and information about the BS Environmental Planning program.

Adding more, the bulletin board is located beside the Research and Extension Room, College of Architecture Building, 2nd Floor.

Back in 1988, then President Corazon Aquino signed Proclamation No. 237, designating June as Philippine Environment Month. This declaration serves a crucial purpose: to raise environmental consciousness among Filipinos.

The highlight of Philippine Environment Month 2023 is the concerted effort to combat plastic pollution and promote the establishment of a circular plastics economy

Get ready because we, the Environmental Planning students, are about to take on the modern world and become inspired to transform it into a healthier and better place to live. Small moves can lead to larger ones, and they can motivate other people to make smaller improvements as well (the more people make small changes the better). IN PHOTOS | This morning, November 19, 2022, Officers of PIEPSA started planning and crafting designs for their Bulletin Board where they will disseminate events, pieces of information and their accomplishments.

Furthermore, it is located beside Research and Extension Room, College of Architecture Building, 2nd Floor.

LOOK | Today, November 17, 2022, PIEPSA Officers were in the act of presenting their Operational Plan on the oncoming Environmental Awareness Week that will be held on November 21-24, 2022. They also consulted Prof. Edgar Aquino in coordination with their program.

Moreover, PIEPSA Officers started to post updates on their bulletin board.

LOOK | PIEPSA Officers conducted a meeting today, November 16 (8:00 pm - 10:00 pm) with the PIEPSA members to relay and discuss the following organization and school activities to be done within the month of November and December.

Moreover, consultation with the PIEPSA members was done to ask for their critiques, and collection of suggestions and opinions with regards to the activities to be integrated on the oncoming Environmental Awareness Week that will be held on November 21-24, 2022, and endeavors on the upcoming National Architecture Week on December 5-7, 2022.

IN ACTION | PIEPSA Officers conducted an online meeting yesterday, November 15, via Google meet in preparation of upcoming activities of the College of Architecture and Environmental Planning, and the planning for Environmental Awareness Week.

The same day, brainstorming was done with regards to the refinement of the PIEPSA Logo, with the presence of the Creative Team's fellow PIEPSA Officers.
