I want to, first off, thank Colin Michael for allowing me to help out CNAW as its National Football Reporter.
To introduce myself, I'm a longtime sports journalist from Cincinnati, Ohio. I've had a passion for writing sports in my blood, ever since I was a youngster. I'll never forget the day that I received my first-ever electric typewriter on a Christmas morning circa late 1980s.
I kept track of literally every sports score during my youthful years, and that passion never left me. As I promoted my work during high school as a sports reporter for Badin's newsletter. I graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in English Journalism.
I created the Lindenwald Ledger -- a local community monthly print and online news source for a small area located within Hamilton, Ohio from 2006-2016.
I was a freelance sports reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Hamilton Journal-News in the Cincinnati, Ohio area from 2002 until roughly 2009.
Reported sports for the Macomb Journal located in Macomb, Illinois from July 2009 until April 2010. I moved there with my now wife Amanda and we had our first child while there. We decided to move back closer to family shortly after our daughter was born.
I am now the creator, owner and operator of the Butler County High School Sports Report -- which is a dedicated news source for all 13 high schools located within Butler County, Ohio near Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a full-time mail carrier by day.
Just to get you up to speed and introduce myself. I will take this opportunity to continue my passion in providing the best stories and news as I can from the National Football side of things. I will be posting my own stories, polls, info and images regarding the NFL, XFL and college football from a national basis. While I do enjoy being on site for items I report on, I will take this opportunity to provide the adequate information that you would be interested in knowing regarding football on a nation-wide scale.
I will provide a fun, unique spin on my reporting, yet instill the who, what, when, where and why values to traditional sports journalism.
Please drop me an email any time to say hi or to give ideas [email protected].
