First full moon of the year, known as the Wolf Moon. My first attempt at moon photography and I still have lots of learning and practice to get it just right.

Long Exposures of a Creek!

Three Long Exposure pictures, all combined into one!

I decided play around with my camera and get a feel on long exposures, as well as trying something fun and going beyond what I usually do in photoshop (which is usually just creating watermarks :P ). It may not as good as most combined LE pictures all into one but it's just the start of getting familiar with long exposures!

I call it "A Sea Captains Guide"!

I took this back in August of 2014 at Cabrillo National Monument, when we were living in San Diego during that time.

Just few of the pictures that I took today on my outing to Toiyabe National Forest and Downtown Reno this afternoon and evening. Played around with the shutter a little bit and used my tripod more today than I really ever have used it. More pictures from this outing will be posted during the week. :D

I do know it's all really up to me on which one that I will use but some more input or advice never hurts, I guess.

Lately, we have been getting some summer thunderstorms out here in the northern Nevada desert and with those storms bring out the most spectacular colorful sunsets!

Honestly, these were taking with my phones camera on pro mode, because my Nikon1 S1 just doesn't do pictures in the dark all that well when I'm wanting to capture something spectacular with no flash. I do love these random summer storms we get here and will miss surely miss them when we leave this town!

😄📷🏅My entry pictures that I put into the Cantaloupe Festival/County Fair Exhibit!🏅📷😆

So I entered a few of my pictures into our local county fair exhibit and I couldn't be anymore happier & proud of myself for doing so! Two of my pictures got 1st place and one other got 2nd place, which honestly I was not expecting it all. It's all thanks to my wonderful husband, our silly kiddo, my family, friends and the rest of you for just liking my page and supporting my passion.

*Since little man and I were not able to go due to being out of state, I'll post pictures of the frames with my photo entries and ribbons, once we get back to NV.
