Heyy Midwife
I am on a journey to normalize birth across various communities, centering the most marginalized, and joining together to ensure reproductive justice for all!
I launched my initiative and fundraiser this week and the love and support that has been coming in is incredible!
I am so grateful for all of you and I am so excited to have you join me on this journey to becoming a midwife!
Stay tuned for some pretty exciting events coming soon!

Throwback to study sessions during those cold winter months!
Part of decolonizing maternal care is acknowledging the racist structures that have existed. The exploitation of black women has provided knowledge and advancements in modern gynecology. The racism that has existed has transcended to the experience of BIPOC womxn in maternal healthcare today. Restoring traditional midwifery and cultural practices , having access to and supporting BIPOC midwives and birth workers, and providing access to culturally safe birthing spaces will aid in supporting the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of birthing persons.
Outside of my normal studies, I have found the joy of exploring simple pleasures in life. Whether it's reading a good book, meditating, dancing, or cooking, finding outlets have been keeping me sane during this time. Right now it can be difficult to find connection with others. What are you doing to finding peace right now? I'd love to hear more🤗
