Gamify the learning to engage the students!

Using a simple free typing website helps develop reading and keyboarding skills in a fun relaxed lesson.

Maple English House Lessons will utilize a vast array of resources available on the internet fornour students to engage and communicate in English. Online quizzes, videos, pictures and interactive programs engages students to using English and motivating them to learn more!

On Wednesday August 10, we had an English event collaboration with Cafe Bus komorebi and it was very fun! Fun, active English activities and a frankfurter snack afterwards!

Fifth day of summer camp! Our campers prepared sandwiches for lunch. After lunch, they hit the park golf course and fully enjoyed it! After learning some new games they used their time well in the cabin. They needed a rest and cleanup of the cabin before having a BBQ dinner.

Fourth day of camp!

Today our campers chilled in the morning playing board games. They had to reserve their energy for an afternoon river rafting and canoe outing!

We had a great time with Tokachi Adventure Club! They were an awesome group that likes to share their love of rafting and the outdoors with others! Not only did our campers raft, but they also got a chance to jump in the river, and cool off lying back into a small waterfall!

After an exhausting adventure, our campers returned to the cabin to relax and have another session of board games.

Third day of summer camp done!

Morning horseback mountain trail ride where our campers fit the headpiece on the horses head to let them know they will ride them.

In the afternoon, made some really cool-looking nature pile art with the local material.

Campfire fun and song and capped the rest of the night with card games and Jenga.

Second day of Maple English House summer camp.

Today it was all about the farming! Are campers picked haskup berries, harvested vegetables and spend time on dairy farm!

Ended the day with some campfire singing! Hope the campers get a good rest because we have a full day tomorrow!

Our inaugural summer camp began today until Friday. Several activities playing Park Golf, nightime board games, lunch and dinner making and making a fire using the fire roll technique!

本当なら今日からイングリッシュホッケーキャンプが始まり、参加者の皆さんを空港までお迎えに行くはずでしたが、北海道の感染者状況をふまえ、泣く泣く中止とさせていただきました。楽しみにしていた参加者の方には申し訳ないですが、北海道での感染者数が全く減らない状況なので賢明な判断だったのではないかと。。。状況が落ち着きましたら必ず開催しますので、皆さま楽しみにしていてくださいね！

お天気が良くて暑いぐらいだったので、外で”I spy...”をやりました。都会では考えられないほど場所が広すぎて、私の指示に全速力で走っていく姿に感動します🥺いつも外でクラスができたらいいんだけど！

今日は、イースターが近いので、ピサンキ(卵に模様をつけて染めるもの)。なかなか上手にできました！
