Bilang pagtugon sa Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa, at upang makibahagi sa R.A 10556, ang Mababang Paaralan ng Cagacag, ay nakiisa sa Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Pagbasa na may temang, "PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan, alinsunod sa DepEd Memo No. 443, s. 2011.

Ang programa ay binuo ng iba't-ibang aktibidad na ginawang patimpalak ng mga g**o upang mahikayat ang mga mag-aaral.

Ang nasabing programa ay naging matiwasay sa suporta ng g**ong taga-pamanihala, Ma'am Madelle D. Arellano, at ang mga g**o at mga mag-aaral sa bawat antas.

Ang layuning ng programang ito ay matuklasan at malinang ang kahalagahan ng pagbabasa para sa bawat mag-aaral.

LOOK

Cagacag ES celebrated the United Nations 2023. The event was facilitated by Ma. Cecilia K. Paycana, the Araling Panlipunan Coordinator. The event aims to showcase the cultural diversity among different countries.

The activity started with a short parade where pupils showed their different costumes and waving their flags that represents unity among countries.
After the parade, the Ramp of Candidates and Group Performance were showed by the participants. The main event brought so much joy and excitement to all pupils.

The Best Performing Group In Primary Level was awarded to the Grade 2 pupils headed by their adviser, Maam Cecilia Paycana, while the Best Performing Group in Intermediate Level was given to the Grade 6 Pupils headed by their adviser Maam Madelle Arellano, our Officer-in-Charge.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

Cagacagians braces for EQ, conducts 3rd quarter drill.

Cagacag Elementary School joined the conduct of the third quarter in-school earthquake drill with the aim of providing disaster readiness education to its pupils and stakeholders, September 7.

Focusing on the worst scenario of an unexpected tragedy in every school or even outside the campus will make everybody absolutely prepared especially when the “big one” happens in our country.
Cagacag Elementary School conducted the third nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill in a year 2023.

Aiming to promote emergency preparedness in schools, Mr. Mark Norman Austria oriented the teachers in a lecture about the precautionary measures during the occurrence of fire and earthquakes.

“Knowing what to do during the times of emergency is the best preparation,” Austria explained. After the lecture, the teachers were given 10 minutes to orient their classes about the earthquake drill.
At the sound of the emergency alarm, the pupils duct, held on their arm chairs and desk and covered their head and vacated the classrooms to proceed to the assembly area where they were counted one by one.

“Head counting is very important for us to know if all the pupils in all grade levels are safe from falling debris and other types of injury,” Austria explained.

Madelle D. Arellano, school’s officer-in-charge commended the conduct of the drill and rated it with a very satisfactory performance in an evaluation and gave some points to improve in the disaster management of the school.

Barangay officials were also present in the conduct of the drill and gave their suggestions on the emergency evacuation procedures and to ensure a safe and orderly evacuation in order to prevent loss of lives and injuries especially if real earthquakes will occur.

IN FOCUS | Cagacag Elementary School initiates Garbage Bin Parade, a community service for continuous school improvement and activities, March 27.

Community Service provides natural sense of happiness and accomplishments. Volunteerism is a way of making everyone’s growth in building sense of responsibility for their own community. Community service broadens your horizons by helping you understand the needs of the society and the population you are trying to help through the project you are volunteering on.

Cagacag Elementary School teachers together with the officers of SPG and YES-O conducted a community service inside and outside the school.

This activity initiative is a powerful method in making the students carry the bins with less egoistic behavior. This activity will also maintain the surroundings of the school if the students are consistently collecting garbage and parade it in an orderly manner.

Specifically, this activity dwells in the following guide points:
1. Participate in the garbage bin parade.
2. Collect all the garbage in the surroundings.
3. Maintain the cleanliness inside and outside of the school.
4. Helps the students to have less egoistic behavior.
5. Raise and establish social awareness.

NEWS | Cagacag Elementary School participates in the celebration of Fire Prevention Month 2023.

In preparation for the observance of this year’s fire prevention, drills and seminar workshop for teachers, parents, and students were organized in order to assess and determine the preparedness of each person in the school community.

Primarily, the school as the center of social interaction for students, parents and teachers must have been responsible in taking good care for everyone. In addition, it will be a great help to monitor the best practices in fire protection and fire safety. It is also a great time to prepare our home and facilities ahead of time with some simple precautions.

With the aforementioned, Cagacag Elementary School faculty and staff together with collaboration of Sangguniang Barangay headed by Hon. Bernardo De Rosas, Brgy. Captain and Kgd. Melchor Glenn Masaganda, BDRRM, conducted a 1- day Fire Safety and Prevention: Drill and Seminar Workshop with a very inspiring theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa”, March 24.
