Remnants of the struggle of the Second Chance remain on the beach with the vessel shown in the background floating in open water. It is clear of the jetties and a considerable distance off shore, but at the time of these photos did not appear to be moving.

A roseate spoonbill feather floats on the reflection of a bright blue summer sky. This evokes memories of my first discovery of a pink feather in my Port Aransas yard many years ago.

What a magnificent morning! My walkabout began on the beach between the jetties and the pier. The stranded Second Chance was beautifully framed. It has moved a substantial distance toward the jetties. The cloud illumination over the pier was as beautiful as the sunrise. A new day in Port A. ❤
