Sew Screwed Woodworks
Passionate custom furniture builder. There isn't a project too small or big!
I mean.. if your logo is on a hat, that makes you official, right?!
Thank you for your awesome work Bravo Delta Engraving. ❤️
A couple still shots of this BEAUTY just because 🤩

Just wrapped up a huge project that was SO special to me and to our family. These trees now line the walls in the media center where our kids go to school. One tree for each season, filled with the teachers’ favorite books. All the lumber was donated by another parent and so much love and thought was poured into the creation of these.
My absolute favorite part about them? My kids beaming with pride as they told their teachers, “my mom made those” as I was installing them. ❤️
I had no idea what I was doing when I volunteered for this project. I’ve never built something like this. Definitely have never installed something like this. But I am learning there is so much growth in saying yes. Yes to the things that seem out of my comfort zone. Out of my element. Out of my expertise. Yes to stretching beyond my capabilities. Yes to doing things alone- even when I’m scared. Yes to figuring it out as I go.
Latest piece 🤩 (aka latest obsession)
Available.
Just realized this beauty never got her own post, so here she is again 😍😍
I actually just finished another custom sign similar to this, but a different state. Any guesses?!
You can find her and more of my artwork at
Friends that aren’t local but are interested in a custom piece, please DM me!
This custom order was such a sweet one to make. Made for someone who was like a brother to me growing up and his new beautiful bride 🥰
From the asymmetrical pattern to hidden sweet messages, I can’t decide which part is my favorite.
I’ll definitely be recreating this design in the future 🤩
Living in Maryland means learning about and loving all things MD, including Natty Boh! This was a custom request that was a brand new one for me, and initially I thought I was looking at the Pringles guy! I can’t be alone in this, right? 😄
He’s a cutie though!
Pick him up at
Another Baltimore Ravens piece! I love the fun accents on this one. I’m always so eager to play with new mediums and textures. This would be such a great addition to any man cave/ sports room!
Head on over to to find it!
Another piece for the NFL collection! Washington Commanders!
I had to look up their new logo and was honestly SO relieved it doesn’t have as much detail as their previous one 😄😄 my scroll saw skills are NOT on that level!
Pick up this cutie at before she gets snagged!
It’s OFFICIALLY official! You can now find some of my work at Local by Design the next time you are out shopping at Annapolis Mall! I am so so honored to have my artwork displayed alongside other AMAZING local artists. It is truly surreal.
For me, this partnership is a DREAM come true. Susan and her team take care of all the business-y stuff that I’m not so great at (selling, packaging, etc) and let me focus on what I love most… the MAKING.
Sending this baby off to it’s new owner today! Custom poster frame with more than 280 pieces of wood individually cut, sanded, painted and assembled (yes, I counted! 😝). I cannot wait to see it in its new home!
Don’t let me down, UPS! 😬😬
This green, black and gold combo is so dramatic and I’m loving it! I’ve been wanting to experiment with mirrors for a while so this was a fun one for me 🥰
I think you’ll be seeing this color palette again soon, k?
She’s ready for paint! I cannot WAIT to see this piece all glammed up 🤩
Hidden doorway to nowhere= one fun new hiding spot 😉
Before/ After of my latest project! This was my first attempt at a bookshelf/ hidden door and I’d call it a success! 🙂 I spent under $200, made up my plans as I went, and am so proud of the finished product. This is kind of how I work. If I’m following plans, I’m 1000% guaranteed to mess them up, so I take out that step altogether and hope for the best 😁.
Just because she deserves another post… 😍
Another flag themed crabby crab for all my MD lovers out there 🦀 ❤️
YOU GUYS! 🤩
Photos don’t do this one justice. It’s the thin frame and gold flakes for me 😍
I also feel like it would look SO BEAUTIFUL with a family name going across the middle, so if you have any interest in snagging this one, I will throw in complimentary personalization! Just shoot me a message.
This was the first time I attempted a rabbeted frame (where the mosaic has a place to “sit” inside the frame) and I kind of love it! It adds an extra step but just looks so much more finished and professional.
Another fun piece for the NFL collection. 🤠 If you know my husband, you knew this team would be making an appearance 😉
I challenged myself on this one with all these star angles, but I think it paid off!
We’ve had below freezing temperatures all day and night the past week of two so getting outside to work ((even with a heater) has been difficult… I have so many ideas running through my head for the next few signs so COME ON WARM WEATHER! ☀️ 🔥
Born and raised baby! ☠️
I can’t look at this sign and not think of my dad, who made me a lifelong Bucs fan and who would’ve proudly displayed this with all of his memorabilia. ❤️
I love the unique size and shape of this piece! I can’t wait to add a few more teams to this growing collection 😃
*NEW* NFL Collection piece! Who do you root for??
It’s our first winter here in Maryland and… let’s just say our whole family is really missing San Diego right now! It has been COLD here for these FL bones, so getting myself motivated to go outside and work has been difficult 😩 My process has been mostly: cut outside, paint inside 🔥
Are you loving this color palette as much as I am?!
My goal is to create a little bit of inventory before I start shipping, but will soon be taking custom orders! 😍
The latest creation is in honor of our new home state. 🦀 We are quickly learning that in order to belong in MD, you have to display a crab somewhere (preferably on your car, but this’ll have to do 🤷♀️🤣).
Sneak peek of the new workshop! Already covered in sawdust 🤷♀️ with one project finished and another in the works! Pics coming very soon! ❤️
LAST project in San Diego! 😭 This one was a gift for one of our best friends!
(I’ll be honest… it would’ve looked WAY better with a BUCS logo… 😉😉 )
Mosaics are simple and SO fun! I can’t wait to make some more once we get settled in MD!
You know when you build something AWESOME only to realize it won’t fit up the stairs to get to the area it was built perfectly for?! So then you have to saw the whole thing in half and somehow not break down crying because of all the hard work you have to ruin? No?? Just me? 🤣 ok.
This experience went down as a valuable (and necessary) lesson.
Always. Measure. The. Staircase.
Because I have some amazing, super flexible and understanding friends, we were able to piece it back together and make it look (almost) flawless 😉
Also… This was my last big build before breaking down the shop for our big move. 😭😭 so it was extra special.
Be back soon ✌🏼
Had the best night celebrating some of our amazing friends! I had the honor of helping create of few special pieces for the bride and groom. My first wedding arch AND it didn’t fall over, so I call that a win! 😉😉
Walnut may have won me over 😍 I meannnn.. look at that wood grain!
Just delivered an 8’ dining room table for the sweetest client (and my first custom order for someone who I didn’t know!)
This was probably my biggest build so far, with the best quality materials I’ve ever used, and it CHALLENGED me- pushed my skills and patience more than I thought was possible, almost caused me to give up, and yet the most rewarding piece to finally complete and deliver. I am SO proud of this one.
Better pix to come!
I don’t think I’ve ever been covered in this much sawdust! 😆 and I’m not even mad about it. I had such a PRODUCTIVE day today- starting and (almost) finishing 2 projects that have been on my to-do list for too long, learning a new skill on the table saw that I’ve been terrified to try until now, and drawing up specs for a dining room table order! Usually I’m lucky if I can squeeze in an hour of garage time a day, so today was a marathon 😜
Happy Sunday 🙂
I made some trendy end table books (yep- you heard that right- me, trendy! 😄😄) for the beautiful
Her heart for Jesus is so inspiring- so these fit perfectly in her home.
This was an elegant nursery sign I did for the precious baby of one of my oldest, bestest friends!
It was my first “big” project on my scroll saw and I was so excited with how it turned out!
I’ve learned so much since I made this, and will be working on another nursery sign order soon, so I’ll share the tips I’ve learned when I’m finished 🙂🙂 @ San Diego, California
I was so proud of this piece when I finished it. It had been saved to my Pinterest boards about 362916 times (something about that classic farmhouse X, amiright?), it was massive and building it felt like a huge accomplishment. But... like every other thing I complete, I can see every flaw in it. Such a perfect example of how something can appear great at first glance, to the world, or on social media, but studying it inside and out gives you a completely different picture. Heather and Eric are so gracious to be my guinea pigs and it fits in perfectly in their new home 🤩 she did a fantastic job picking out design and colors, and of course styling it!!
I am always honored when my friends allow me to help bring their visions to life! Here, my amazing neighbors wanted to upgrade their builder grade kitchen, so they got to work on the backsplash and installing the oven hood, and enlisted my help in raising the cabinets up to the ceiling. The photos show the project start to finish- and as you can see, it made such a stunning difference! Their kitchen now looks like something out of a magazine! 🤩
Photo backdrop wall for the most stunning soon-to-be bride!
Who doesn’t love a good before and after?! 👉
Picked this hutch up on the curb (my favorite spot to find new projects 😜), sanded it down and spent a LOT of time cleaning it up. The end result was beautiful ❤️
