In a landmark achievement that will be remembered for years to come, Remelyn G. Erenio of the Criminology Department, has etched her name in history as the lone Cum Laude graduate of Capiz State University (CapSU) Dumarao Satellite College Batch 2024.

However, Remelyn's commencement speech was a heartfelt symphony of gratitude, as she paid tribute to her family, professors, and peers who stood by her side throughout her academic journey. She eloquently spoke of the power of perseverance and the labor of love required to surmount the obstacles she faced.

"A lot of plot twists I never expected happened as I continued to pursue my education in this institution. I grew up trying to live up to the expectations of the people around me, too much pressure, of course," Remelyn shared, her words striking a chord with all present.

Her message of unwavering determination and resilience echoed through the Dumarao Sports Complex, inspiring her fellow graduates to follow their passions with the same fervor. "Furthermore, many times I thought of giving up on this course, because criminology is not just a battle of mental capacity but also of your physical and emotional stability," Remelyn added, her voice resonating with the weight of her experiences.

With a heart full of determination and an unyielding spirit, 𝐀𝐑𝐉𝐔𝐍 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀, a BSED Social Studies-4 student and the Editor-in-chief of Salingsing Publication, recently emerged as a celebrated finalist in the prestigious 12th Batang Capiznon Awards - Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz.

His journey as a TOSOC finalist was a transformative experience, enriching him with invaluable insights. "The transformation and lessons learned here are invaluable and cannot be measured by any amount. BYLI-TOSOC 2024 has helped shape a better future for me, reinforcing my belief in being an 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 both in right and in deeds," reflected Arjun, encapsulating the profound impact of the event on his life.

In a thrilling contest featuring outstanding and talented participants from around Capiz, Arjun shone brightly, advancing to the finals with a sense of accomplishment and self-discovery. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, "This experience opened my eyes to new facets of myself, seen through the lens of others and my own introspection. I've always considered myself an exceptional student, but it was here that I truly found my essence."

Finally, with a heart brimming with pride, Arjun proclaimed, "Embarking on the BYLI-TOSOC 2024 adventure was a voyage of self-discovery like no other. At first, I sought 'RECOGNITION,' but as I navigated the waters of Pag-Ulopdanay, I realized it was truly about learning and evolving. Each challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone, forcing me to trust my inner strength. It became clear that this wasn't a contest between me and BYLI-TOSOC 2024 or my Batch Sinagtala team; it was a profound duel with my own limits, a journey to uncover my true potential."

The game was a closely contested match, with both teams showing great skill and determination. In the end, Criminology emerged victorious, defeating Vetmed to win the championship.

Criminology's win was led by 53-42 beating the Veterinary Medicine. Vetmed put up a good fight, but ultimately came up short.

In the end, Criminology's superior teamwork and defense proved to be the difference, as they celebrated their championship victory.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊│The Capiz State University-Dumarao Satellite College's Intramurals Meet 2023 was opened on November 15, 2023. The three-day sporting event aims to showcase each department's diverse talents and skills.
Day 1 of the Intramurals 2023 concluded with remarkable and jaw-dropping performances, especially from the grand slam winner of cheer dance, the 2023 Intramural Meet champion from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞. This college has consistently secured victories in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
The opening ceremony was graced by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐁. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥, CapSU Sports Director, and was also opened by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧, CapSU-Dumarao Satellite College Director. The event was further enriched by the words of inspiration from our beloved mayor, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚.
This year's theme is "𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙎𝙐'𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨." The event will run until December 1, 2023, including cultural activities and the Mr. and Ms. CapSU-Dumarao pageant.
