I come into 2023 with an announcement:

We have made the decision to close the shop in Lochboisdale. There are many things that have lead us to making this decision which I’ll post in a blog on the website but the basic gist is that it wasn’t doing what we wanted it to.

Our passion is for weddings and workshops, not traditional flower shop bouquets and products, and this got a little bit lost along the way. We were no longer steering the ship and we were just letting it sweep us along. So no more!

As I said, our first love is for weddings and workshops so we will be focusing all our attention on these with gift bouquets for Valentines Day and Mothers Day too.

If you have a gift voucher it won’t expire! I will post dates that I will have flowers in if you’d like to use your gift voucher for cut flowers or you can use it toward the cost of a ticket to a workshop.

We have lots of plans professionally and personally for 2023 and I thank you if you’ve supported us this year!

We had another wreath workshop this afternoon as the village was abuzz with the Christmas market happening at the same time. We managed to have a look around at the market, have a snoop at the Lochboisdale regeneration plans and have a gingerbread latte too. Definitely starting to feel more in the Christmas spirit now!

We visited a lot of really amazing small businesses in the short time we were in Stornoway and I’ll share them in another post to give them some serious love!⁣

We have one space left on our workshop tomorrow afternoon in the Lochboisdale studio and that’s us for this year! Our order book will be open tomorrow for bouquets, wreaths and table decorations delivered closer to the big day so pop in to see us! 💛

We will create a Christmas wreath from scratch using a wire frame, moss, foliage and decorations ready for you to hang on your door.⁣

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience from complete beginners so don’t feel sorry about your skill level or knowledge. It’s all good fun and everyone will come away with their own handmade wreath.⁣

We’re bringing back our wreath making workshops this year and we’re super excited to be able to host some in our studio in Lochboisdale and also be in collaboration with some amazing venues across the Outer Hebrides.
