Today’s topic, getting an even burn on your candles.

It’s essential to let a candle burn across the top entirely every time you light it. This ensures that you get the most burn time out of your candle, and that it doesn’t tunnel down the middle (slide 2), leaving a lot of wax unmelted. Make sure to allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge before blowing it out (slide 3)

Tonic Candles are 100% soy wax and have a burn time between 50-55 hours! Don’t let that go to waste 😉

Let’s talk about wick trimming. To help your candle burn as clean as possible, trimming your wicks after every burn is essential to reducing smoke and preventing the wick from crumbling into your wax. We recommend trimming the wick to approximately a quarter inch. You can do this using a wick trimmer or scissors to get an even cut. We don’t recommend doing this immediately after the candle has been extinguished because if the wick falls, it will land in the melted wax and be difficult to get out. Feel free to ask any questions you have about wick trimming below! We’d be happy to help your candle last to its full potential 🕯

We’ve reached our final scent! Old Fashioned is a warm spiced bourbon, blended with a sweet orange scent that gives it the perfect fresh twist. This candle is a great choice for anyone who prefers an earthy fragrance.

Day seven, Tom Collins.

We’re almost at the finish line! Tom Collins is a fruity, sweet scent. Notes of juicy black cherries combine with fresh citrus and finish with a base of smooth gin. This is the perfect summer fragrance that fills any room with a bright aroma.

Day six, Moscow Mule.

Moscow Mule is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Sharp notes of ginger and lime finish off with an earthy and sweet base to give this classic the perfect twist. This candle is definitely a favorite of ours.

Day five, Frozen Margarita.

Frozen Margarita is a sweet, refreshing candle that has top notes of citrus that make it the perfect fresh scent. The warm earthy base of wood and mint combine to form a great neutral blend.
