At Live.Love.Lift. we follow something called the 80/20 rule!
Let me explain.
80% of your total daily calorie intake should come from whole foods, fruits, veggies, lean protein and healthy fats.๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ฅฆ๐ฅ
This means 20% of your total daily intake can be โflexibleโ and can be allocated to foods you really enjoy, like Oreos, ice cream or pizza. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ
As an example, if you were eating, 2000 cals per day, roughly 1,600 cals (80%) would ideally come from chicken breasts, apples, berries, sweet potato, carrots. And roughly 400 calories (20%) can come from your fav fun foods, what Iโm holding above ๐
