My friend requested a yarn that was dark red, so I created this one. It reminds me of the sunrise just before a storm would come through!

Started out with dyeing this yarn rainbow colors, but then thought it looked too bright, so I over-dyed with black and I love the darker results!

If you can't already tell, I love working with blues even though they are one of the hardest dyes to wash completely out. Do I care? No. It's really my favorite color and who wants to work with colors they don't like at all? This one turned out so pretty!

All of us have bad days and good days. This is an example of one of those bad days where the colors weren't right and the color saturation wasn't working out. I had too little liquid so the colors ended up splotchy. After finishing and drying, I think that it turned out nice even though it wasn't what I originally planned. I'll probably end up trying this colorway again, but with a different technique.

Sorry, it's been a while, but I'm here now with another hand dyed yarn for you! I tried to recreate the funfetti colorway, but with the different yarn base, the colors took differently and seem brighter. I'm calling this one Cupcake Sprinkles!

Got a new shipment of food coloring that I had to try asap! Especially this stone color which turned a grayish purple tone! I also used Koolaid for the specks of color.

I’ve always loved yarn and I have been a knitter and crocheter for several years. Recently, I watched a YouTube video about dyeing yarn, and I fell in love! After many tutorials, I decided to give it a go! I haven’t looked back since. I started out using food coloring on several different bases and I just started using Kool-Aid which gives brilliant colors and it’s great for speckling. Each skein is like a masterpiece and each one is unique. You never know how the colors will come together. I try to make the pictures reflect the same colors of the yarn, but there will be differences in screen monitors. Bleeding may occur even though I have thoroughly washed the yarns. I would recommend washing separately and in cold water. Dyed in a cat and dog friendly home.

This is another one that I thought turned out disastrous at first. Since drying, I've begun to be okay with the bright pop of colors. Just like a box of crayons!

What do you think about this one? I hand painted parts of it red, purple, blue and green. Then I overdyed it all in black. It turned out more pinkish black than I imagined. Almost looks iridescent...like dragon scales.
