On this International Women's Day, we ask a few challenging questions. What exactly is a Christian woman? 🤔 How is she meant to act and move in the world? 🤔 Where is her place? 🤔 What is her role?

The more we consider examples of faithfull women throughout history, we realize that there is no mold for womanhood in God's design. He celebrates all of us: our diverse personalities, our unique self-expressions, how we navigate the world in strength mixed with grace, how we bring positive change to our spaces, when we move boldly and without apology within our gifts and talents—when we live in the freedom of being woman!

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING

No matter what is going on around you, know that you are changing for the better. You are resilient. Just imagine yourself like a tree that has been in hiberantion all winter--no leaves, no flowers, no fruit, nothing glamorous to behold, perhaps hidden under inches of snow. Spring is here to change all of that. Have no fear. God makes everything beautiful in time. Now is that time. 🙌

Some days, you have to remind yourself that you are not alone.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! (Psalms 91: 1-2)

On this , we're not focusing on ourselves. We are challenging ourselves to step outside of our needs and help meet the need(s) of someone around us.

Go do good!

PEACE, BE STILL Sometimes, we are like disciples in the ship with Jesus; facing stormy fears and anxiety (Mark 4). By faith, we know that He is with us. But we still find ourselves crying, "HELP! GOD, DON'T YOU CARE?" 😰

He cares. His answer to the storm is always, "Peace, be still."

His answer to us is the same:

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” THE LORD OF HOSTS IS WITH US; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]." Psalsm 46: 11-12
