You may be familiar with the concept of heaven, but what exactly is it? Put simply, heaven is where God lives. Of course, God is everywhere, but heaven is His kingdom, where He rules and reigns. People will come from every corner of the earth to live in heaven – the place where believers will one day reside with their Savior! Jesus once called it “Paradise.”

The Bible has plenty of descriptions about heaven. It is a place with pearl gates and streets made of gold! The Bible illustrates it as being a place of unity where animals live together in peace side by side. Heaven will be a place without sorrow or pain and it will be filled with joyous music and song.
