Hot car deaths have declined this past summer, compared to recent years, possibly due to more people staying at home. When the pandemic subsides, many people's routines will be switched around, and "forgotten baby syndrome" cases could, unfortunately, spike. Let's get a jump start in preventing children left behind in hot cars. Make a plan now to prevent future tragedies. A Frog in Hand for a Backup Plan!

The most common reason this happens is when a caregiver forgets to remove the child from the vehicle. Statistics are showing that high-tech alert devices and reminder apps, alone, are not preventing hot car deaths. No one wants to believe it could happen to them. But it is happening. It only takes a few minutes for the interior of a car to reach a dangerous temperature.
