Meet Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Pamela McGee, today's spotlight for "Faces of USNA." Not all of us get the privilege of having a mentor, but at the Naval Academy, staff and faculty believe this is a crucial component to training our future leaders and that it's the BEST part of their job.

The white glove treatment at USNA can be stressful! Weekly room inspections are still the norm for midshipmen, but once a semester they are elevated to the Alpha Inspection. Alphas necessitate a higher standard of cleanliness (and hours of cleaning from the mids) to ensure the longevity and functionality of Bancroft Hall, the Beaux-Arts dormitory whose construction began well over years ago.
The Naval Academy recently hosted approximately 50 cadets from the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps for an overnight visit, and a great time was had by all! How can you NOT have fun when a YP cruise and beautiful weather are part of the experience? They also met with mids who were former Sea Cadets.
Only a couple more hours until the All American Week Division Review! We look forward to seeing everyone in person. If you are not able to be here in person stay tuned we will be live streaming it right here!

Tomorrow, Navy Rugby is playing Air Force for a very special cup -- the Lt. Col. Kevin Shea Memorial Rugby Cup that Navy has held since . It is very meaningful to both teams and is a touching tribute to a great legacy of service. The annual match has been played in his honor since .
