Today, the Airborne Division inducted nine legendary figures into our great Hall of Fame. Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti, Lt. Gen. Raymond Mason, Col. Benjamin H. Vandervoort, Cpt. John B. Sauls, Cpt. Gerald A. Wolford, 1st Lt. Waverly Wray, Command Sgt. Maj. Wolf Amacker, Command Sgt. Maj. Bryant Lambert, and Cpl. John S. Gilbertie. The white glove treatment at USNA can be stressful! Weekly room inspections are still the norm for midshipmen, but once a semester they are elevated to the Alpha Inspection. Alphas necessitate a higher standard of cleanliness (and hours of cleaning from the mids) to ensure the longevity and functionality of Bancroft Hall, the Beaux-Arts dormitory whose construction began well over years ago.

The Naval Academy recently hosted approximately 50 cadets from the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps for an overnight visit, and a great time was had by all! How can you NOT have fun when a YP cruise and beautiful weather are part of the experience? They also met with mids who were former Sea Cadets.
