A wonderful day in Elliston, near Bonavista, watching puffins on a nearby island and watching whales blowing from a distance with the family. Just another beautiful picture of Newfoundland scenery.
I was overworked and unappreciated. No family time and my body was tired! Thankfully that is no longer my story...
..I discovered a new skill set that is exploding right now in the digital space!
All because I explored an online education platform that helps me in the virtual business world and the day to day 9 to 5 business world.
I was enjoying my work in the food sector until a change in management resulted in a lack of appreciation for my work, and a lack of respect.
I got treated as if my 7 years of experience did not exist.
As a father of two young boys, I got tired of coming home late and getting very little family time with my wife and boys on a daily basis...
Not to mention the aches and pains that tortured me during a life of lifting boxes day after day.
I wanted more time and more enjoyment with my family.
I was ready to move to something less stressful on my body...something definitely more rewarding from a lifestyle point of view.
I was simply off work enjoying life while waiting til it was time to go searching for another career, however the answer came looking for me when I clicked on a link that led me to this easy to learn and understand education platform.
Why choose an online marketing education? Well it’s simple really.
✅ I can make my own schedule by working and learning
when and where I want to.
✅ ! NEVER have a deadline!
✅ I get lots of encouragement from my peers and those
teaching the program.
✅ Computer skills are NOT a necessity.
✅ The learning is visual.
✅ This is not reliant on friends and family.
A little hard to believe right? Only it’s not, it’s real!
Through this program I have met some awesome people and been taught some amazing skills that can allow me to create and expand my knowledge of marketing.
I’ve met some knowledgeable people who are always ready to help when I have questions.
My wife and I have both chosen this new adventure during this time, which made us grow stronger as a couple.
I share all of this because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to improve their lifestyle and enjoy life without the judgement or disapproval of others.
All it takes is simple reaching out and adding some:
👍 Desire
👍 Dedication
👍 Determination
This is an amazing opportunity to explore a new skill and have a chance to enjoy more of life than ever imagined.

Not much else to do but go for the occasional drive when you get bored around the house these days!
For anyone who may be living in fear today!
Our province is filled with many smaller islands that have communities on them. This is just one of the many smaller ferries which operate to and from these islands.
The boys and I went skating during last year's Winter Carnival here in town.
This is the world famous Fogo Island Inn. It costs a pretty penny to stay here but it's beautiful inside and made with all hand crafted materials from Fogo Island. The only thing not from the tiny island off our north coast is the Juniper wood. That all comes from here in the Stephenville area.
An overhead view of Stephenville, which as you see on the right was a major spot for airplanes to land during 9-11!
A picture of us in Toronto last summer looking way up at the CN Tower!
A doctor friend of mine from our church is a huge Man United fan, but I route for the team on the other side of Manchester. So I gave him this Man U mug for Christmas so he could enjoy the Manchester Derby with a coffee in his home while I enjoy the same game drinking from my Manchester City mug.
I love cats, big and small! And quite frankly, some mornings I feel like this Jaguar, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
A snapshot of our province's capital from Signal Hill National Historic Site. St. John's is North America's oldest city. Not Boston or Philadelphia, but St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada. Signal Hill is where Marconi received the first wireless signal from across the Atlantic Ocean in Europe. Our province is filled with history!
This a view of L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site on the Great Northern Peninsula in Newfoundland. It is the first known landing of the Vikings in North America after they crossed the North Atlantic!
We had a blast at the Hockey Hall of Fame last summer, especially the boys!
We are definitely a Lego family! We had this picture with Emmet Brickowski taken during our trip to Legoland in Toronto last summer.
Here is perhaps the greatest predator of the north! Luckily this huge polar bear lives at the Toronto Zoo and was separated from us by a glass enclosure! They really are an incredible animal. Their paws alone are almost the size of the window in your car door. These often make their way south in the spring, even as far as the northern tip of our island near St. Anthony.
Being from the north (Labrador) this has been my favourite animal since I was a small boy. The beautiful and graceful Snowy Owl. Hard to believe something so nice can be such a great predator of the north. Their wingspan is massive!
Just another quote from the Greatest Book ever written and the number one selling book worldwide, The Bible!
If you are driving to the island from Nova Scotia you are gonna need to ride one of these 4 beauties for roughly 8 hours. Running across the Cabot Strait twice daily, two of these 4 vessels are sister ships. Can you guess which two?
These are some pictures of our provincial bird, the Atlantic Puffin. It's the favourite animal of my oldest son Jayden.
Faith is the biggest element to our family. Everything we do and say is based on our faith in God. He has our future and knows what plan He has for us so we have no need to worry!
Here is a map of our province, Newfoundland and Labrador. Next to it you'll see an overhead view of the town we live in. You can find Stephenville on the map if you zoom it in far enough. It's on the island portion of the province, even though I'm from the Labrador part of our province. You'll find my hometown of Labrador City on the map too.
We stopped in Lewisporte one day to have a look at the train cars they have on display there. They are just one of several displays that serve as a reminder of the old Newfoundland Railway which ran across the island portion of our province until the early 1980's.
The boys love their baseball, but they can only hope these restrictions because of Covid-19 get lifted in time for the season.
