My name is I’m an Italian x African American girl born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. I started modelling when I was 16 and have loved every shoot I’ve done. Modelling to me is a form of art (which is a huge hobby of mine). I absolutely love the creative side to modelling and one of my favourite things about shooting is, not only the end result, but listening to and collaborating with like-minded individuals to create wonderful results!

I signed with Āhua because their values really align with mine and their commitment to diversity and inclusion is something that I really relate to and place a high importance on.

My name is Olivia Bowden I am a proud Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander woman.My culture and family mean everything to me, they are my inspiration and our younger mob are my reason ‘Why?’ When it comes to modelling. I am apart of a wave of First Nations beauty coming into the forefront of representing Australia worldwide, with the younger generation being my soul drive for setting a positive body image for all the nationalities within Australia.

In 1993 we saw our first Aboriginal model represented on the cover of vogue magazine. I know that because of her I am also stepping into demonstrating Blak beauty so my nieces and nephew can see themselves represented through me.

I have been apart of shoots for local photographers and involved in international shoots for Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland and Sunshine Coast Tourism. I have also been supported in working alongside Blaklens photographers capturing Country & Cultural shoots, working with these photographers in sharing our cultures beauty is what has encouraged me to further purse my modelling career. My two different coloured eyes has also attracted the lens of multiple photographers into capturing my uniqueness.

I’m a sucker for street wear, active wear & footwear with my passions being running, skateboarding, AFL & gym. I am outgoing and enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things and am my happiest self when I’m outside by the saltwater and sun.

I am honoured to be onboard working with Āhua management. We share the same values ‘Diversity, Culture, individuality, family.” It is powerful to see a modelling agency representing these core values, they are majorly shaping the future for modelling. These values are a true reflection of who Āhua is as an agency and also who I am as there model.

Hey it’s Nick! AKA your Boy Nicky :) I was born in Nakuru - Kenya but raised in Brisbane, Australia. I am a full-time entrepreneur on multiple business ventures and currently run a streetwear brand that represents a community of inclusion.

I love everything about helping others and standing up for those who can’t stand for themselves – the minority. Whether it’s on the rugby field, in a church or through my business, I value the unique differences that make the individual themselves.

I am a big family man, and my family have always instilled in me very strong morals and values to respect and love others around you. We moved around a lot, and I never really felt like a fit in because of the colour of my skin, people always went out of their way to make fun of my features. It wasn’t until I graduated high school that I started to embrace what makes me, me. I realised that I didn’t come here to fit in but to stand out, to help those who may look like me feel empowered in their skin. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to be part of the Āhua family and honoured to get the opportunity to represent my African culture.

Born in Australia’s capital territory Canberra, to spending majority of my life in a little town. I knew connecting with as many people around the world as possible was something I was destined to do. My mother put me into modelling from a very young age, and from that I gained a love and passion to be in front of the camera, people, stages and, dived into a whole new world of networking, events and more. Modelling has allowed me to cross paths with likeminded and inspirational people all over the world, it has opened up an avenue for me to be able to push myself to limits I would have only dreamed of doing.

Over the past three to four years now I have been a freelance model as I haven’t found an agency that aligns with my visions and goals. As soon as I saw Kiri who I met at a networking event and she was this ball of energy and business drive to start Ahua Model Management I knew that it was an agency I would love to represent and be apart of.

I am someone who is a firm believer in diversity, self love, empowerment and support. Outside of modelling I am a content creator and social media manager fulfilling my dreams of connecting with people across the world. I devote a lot of my time on networking and sharing my own personal struggles/experience with mental health and body image. I believe through raising your voice and social media we can help create a diverse, self loving, empowering environment much like Ahua has done, all across the world. I am beyond excited to be apart of a team that stands for everything I believe in and for Kiri and Kelvin who devote their time in making sure we get as much work, support and experience’s as we possibly can.

I was born in New Zealand but have called Australia home for the last 15 years. Recently establishing myself in Brisbane, I spent years working around Australia as a professional makeup artist and freelance model. I'm known mostly for my work as a commercial hair and makeup artist, being a regular artist on set for some of Australia’s biggest e-commerce brands. My experience varies from photography, videography and runway work.

Positivity and strength are important qualities to me and I try to help empower those around me. I'm passionate about self discovery, mindfulness and exploring my creativity. Modelling has been a powerful extension of these beliefs, creating a healthier relationship with body and mind. Āhua values differences, diversity and freedom of expression - these are qualities I evoke daily in my personal and professional life.
