The resulting exercise programme is designed for people of all shapes and sizes – including those living in bigger bodies. I’m so proud to have been a part of this project, showing how different exercises can be done safely, effectively and comfortably if you are living in a bigger body. HQIP will be delivering on the Engaging People and Communities work on behalf of the National Obesity Audit. We are seeking views from people who use services to understand their experience of care and ensure the audit aligns with their priorities. Their input will influence the way the audit develops and functions, and how key messages are produced, communicated and disseminated to service users and the wider public.
To support this engagement, we are planning two approaches to collaborate and learn from people and communities:
1. Establish a virtual User Panel to include 20 people across England who are users of services, carers and families of people living with overweight and obesity and charity representatives to bring wider perspectives and support engagement
2. Hold virtual focus groups with people who have specific experience relevant with the current NOA activity
