Flamingo adventures in Curacao.

I made a 6 card series about flamingos when I was on a working visit in Bonaire. The landscape in the back of all these cards are typical sites in Bonaire.
The Caribbean flamingo( Phoenicopterus ruber) flies from Bonaire to Curacao and back. They also go to Venezuela.
When something happens to one of the flamingoes often times Dr. Doest goes to their rescue.
Help her save our flamingoes by buying this beautiful set of cards at her VET office in Julianadorp.

Most people know the foundation Fundashon Dier en Onderwijs Cariben through the work with Bob the flamingo. They are a wildlife rehabilitation and rescue organization, that takes care of the wounded or sick wildlife that we have on our beautiful island. They take care of sea turtles, royal terns , caracara, owls, a b***y and a bunch of pigeons , doves and baby song birds. We live on a small island that is very diverse in its flora and fauna. Last year alone they had more than 300 animals coming in. Some passed away. Many were released, and a few resulted in suitable education ambassadors when they were not releasable.

Danki-notes is donating to this foundation through selling the Flamingo Danki-Notes.
