Tomorrow "From her youth she loved" will be back at for "The future of intelligence", a multidisciplinary conference on Vernon Lee curated by Sally Blackburn-Daniels
A path between perception and vision inspired by the figure of Vernon Lee and the studies in aesthetic psychology carried out with her partner Clementine Anstruther Thomson.
A choreographic itinerary, bridging presences and real testimonies through the garden of Villa il Palmerino in Florence, the writer's residence from 1889 until her death.

Cristina, sometimes she dreams like a flamingo with long neck and long legs.
She tries to pick up her books on the higher shelves but she doesn’t reach, oh, she’s never reaching.
And then she falls, but her legs don’t bend enough to fall, so she falls into herself.
She would like to go higher, but she gets stuck, she can't breathe.

Distressed by the gravity of their bundles, three bodies question the inability to sustain and the possibility of letting go.
It is a score for long necks and water bubbles that betray their appearance with their weight.
Ephemeral and changeable, they question the meaning of the constant effort we invest to resist subsidence while evoking the emptiness that fills with strength the act of releasing.
We feel light, with our ears full of wadding, floating with our belly towards the sun.
Affannati dalla gravità dei loro fardelli, tre corpi si interrogano sull'incapacità di sostenere e la possibilità di lasciare.
E’ una partitura per colli lunghi e bolle d'acqua che tradiscono con il peso le loro sembianze.
Effimere e mutevoli, li influenzano e ne assorbono la forma,
interrogandoci sul senso del costante sforzo che investiamo per resistere al cedimento e su quel vuoto che riempie di forza l'atto di lasciare andare.
Ci si sente leggeri, con le orecchie piene di ovatta come a galleggiare con la pancia verso il sole.

L' itinerario coreografico porta a galla presenze e testimonianze del giardino di Villa il Palmerino a Firenze, che fu residenza della scrittrice dal 1889 fino alla morte.

Movement journeys is a hybrid educational program with the goal of developing a multimedia creative movement practice.
Using collages and audio podcasts it takes dancers of all levels and movers of all ages into a journey through movement.
MJ is the result of one year of exchanges between Italy and Germany, two residencies with local dancers, and a first open workshop.
The project is supported by NATIONALES PERFORMANCE NETZ - STEPPING OUT, funded by the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien in the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR, La Cap-Rehub, with the kind collaboration of Associazione Sosta Palmizi and HOME Centro Creazione Coreografica.

I fondi raccolti saranno devoluti interamente al Centro Ricerca Tettamanti per sostenere la ricerca sullo studio e la cura della leucemia mieloide che colpisce bambini e adolescenti.
Il "Progetto Amici di Duccio: la terapia genica alla sconfitta della leucemia" è un progetto di sostegno alla ricerca nel campo della cura della leucemia mieloide acuta che la Dott.ssa Marta Biondi svolge presso il Centro Ricerca Tettamanti di Monza.
