For this Market the theme is Mother Earth. So they asked us what was one sustainable change you would add/change to your business???

I love that they asked us that because we all could do alittle better in our choices for the earth.

For my sustainable change I decided to recycle and make my own paper for thank you notes. The first batch was solely for that, and while adding dried flower petals to some of the paper inspiration struck!

So I pressed flowers to make my own art on the second batch of paper making.

I've had so much fun making my own paper and I also creating these pressed bouquets!

History behind this paper: all scraps from making my own prints at home!

Druid Arch 🏜

Inspired by a 3 day backpacking trip with my husband in Utah last Halloween.

It was a side detour on our backpacking trip, so we dropped our packs, grabbed some water bottles and did the extra miles to see it. I'm very happy we did!

The Needles District of Canyonlands is one of the coolest places I've been and I'm happy I painted apart of it.

Fun fact about me is -
I am from Arizona! But growing up I didn't appreciate the desert enough. Probably because the town we lived in was small and we didn't leave it much.

When we would travel through the states to Colorado I didn't appreciate the surroundings, I thought it was boring.

But now... driving the same roads to go backpacking I recognize the surroundings and its not boring to me. I appreciate it alot more and I love that for me.

Always a good time at the art markets ☺
