This week the students learned how living things get what they need to survive during our science lessons! They were so excited to dissect an owl pellet with their partner! The students had to work with their partners to identify possible prey using the bone chart.🦉❤️🦉

We tested our parachutes today!! The kids had so much fun working together! They are going to redesign on Monday to see if they can get theirs to fall more slowly! 🪂

The students had fun working together during science this week! They learned that pushes and pulls are forces. They also learned the difference between balanced and unbalanced forces.
The students introduced their partner to the class. They discovered their similarities and differences! Have a wonderful holiday weekend, everyone!

Ms. Lavac’s Favorite Things Day #1 …Treehouses! I always wanted a treehouse in my backyard when I was a kid. We read the book “Everything You Need for a Treehouse”, then made our own treehouses! It was fun, but challenging to get them to stand without tipping over! I loved watching their blueprints turn into creative designs!
