مي بدأت معانا علاج تقويم اسنانها يوم ٢٤ مايو ٢٠٢١ مع د. احمد عبدالحليم .. و كانت بتشتكي من بروز و فراغات بين اسنانها و اعوجاج في اسنانها السفلية .. تم علاجها بدون خلع و دي كانت اخر زيارة و وعدنها المرة الجاية هتشيل جهاز التقويم و نحتفل بابتسامتها الجديدة باسنانها الطبيعية .

Mai started her braces treatment with us on 24 May 2021 with , she was completely of sticking out teeth , gaps between her teeth and crooked bottom teeth. She was treated without any extraction of her teeth. This was the last visit for her and we promised her the next visit she will remove the braces and we are going to celebrate her new smile with her natural teeth.

Alignment of crooked teeth has been done in 8 months

A 20 years male patient was complaining of crooked teeth, he presented with class I incisors relationship on class I skeletal base with average vertical proportions and acceptable facial symmetry, complicated by chipped out U2s and lower incisors, mild crowding in lowered arch and malalignment upper arch, molar and canine relationship were 1/4 unit class III in the right side and Class I in the left side, and the upper midline was coincided with the FCL and the lower midline was shifted 2 mm to the left from UCL.
Lips were competent, NLA was average and both lips were average on Ricket E-Line
Treatment was done using Fixed orthodontic appliance Roth prescription (0.022” X 0.028”) on non extraction basis
All chipped incisors were restored by composite fillings.

27 years old Egyptian female patient, she was complaining of crooked teeth, she presented with class I incisors relationship on Class I skeletal base, she had moderate crowding in both archs, class I molar relationship in both sides , 1/4 unit class II canine relationship in both sides , lower and upper midline were coincident with FCL
Competent lips, upper and lower lips were average on E-Line and average NLA
Treated by: Fixed orthodontic appliance Roth prescription (slot size 0.022'' X 0.028'') with extraction all first premolars

Yes, the Summer time is the best time to get braces for your children for these reasons: ( reason number 5 is important )
1- School’s out : no more early bus rides, no more classes , no more homework and no more tests for couple of months. so summer is an ideal time to get these initial orthodontic appointments as it may be lengthy appointments for bonding the braces on the teeth and by the time the first day of schools rolls around again, they will only need to come in for quick and easy checkups.
2- Getting adapted: the process will involves moving teeth and that can be quite uncomfortable especially at first, that’s another reason we suggest starting orthodontic treatment in the summer, to give kids and teens some extra time to hide out at home while they adapt to their braces. Sending kids straight off to school with a mouthful of brackets and wires and a sore jaw just seems cruel and it’s bound to make focusing on their studies a bit more difficult.
3-Getting adjusted: braces require a lot of adjustments, and not just with the braces themselves ,the wearer must make hygiene and diet changes to accommodate their new gear. Summer is the easiest time for these transitions.
4- Social Scene: During the school year, when one kid gets braces, the other kids all know about it, they leave school braces-free one day and come back the next with a mouth full of metal. On the other hand, if kids get their braces on during the summer, it’s likely that only their close circle of friends will see them until they get used to them a little more

Sticking out teeth TREATMENT

A.A is 14 years old Egyptian female , she was complaining of sticking out teeth , she presented with class II division 1 incisors relationship on a class II skeletal base with average vertical proportions. she had proclined upper and retroclined lower incisors ,an incomplete deep-bite, perviously extracted upper first molar in both sides , 15 mm spaces in upper arch , mild crowding in lower arch , molar relationship in both sides were undefined , canine relationship were 3/4 unit class II in both sides , mesialy angulated upper right canine , the upper midline was shifted 1 mm to the left from FCL and the lower midline was coincident with FCL .
upper and lower lips were protruded on E-line , NLA was average , incompetent lips with short upper lip and increase smile show at rest and smile .

Sticking out teeth has been straightened

A 15 years old Egyptian female was complaining of sticking out teeth ,she presented with class II div 1 incisor relationship on a Cl II skeletal base with slightly increased LAFH, it's complicated by proclined upper incisors and incomplete overbite, Molar relationship was 2/3 unit class II in left side and 1/2 unit class II in right side, canine relationship was 1/2 unit class II in both sides, malalignment in both arches and upper and lower midline were coincident with FCL.
Decreased incisors show at rest, lips were competent and protruded on E-line with acute NLA
Treated by: Fixed orthodontic appliance Roth prescription (0.022'' X 0.028'' ) with extraction of Upper first premolars to correct incisors inclination and decrease overjet.
Deep overbite was corrected by: adding lower second molars and reverse curve of spee in lower archwire SS (0.016'' X0.022'')
Treatment duration: 18 months
