Back to School Fellowship

Held on August 27, 2023 of Hope UMC with the theme “𝓓𝓪𝓼𝓲𝓰 𝓛𝓪𝓷𝓰; 𝓣𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓒𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓪𝓰𝓮, 𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓞𝓷, 𝓝𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓾𝓹”.

“Dasig”, often used as “Dasig Lang”
- is a Cebuano word that means 'take courage, hold on, never give up.

As we go back to school and face another school year, our life can be full of challenges, sorrows, and tough decisions. But even amidst hardship, the Lord counsels us to be strong and courageous.

As Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”


We would like to express our gratitude to our guest speaker Ptr. Jasper John Agonoy despite to the bad weather we are experiencing, he's still find a way to come and join us, and share the words of God.
