Growing up I’ve seen people treat my immigrant parents like they were less than because of their accent and being a foreigner. Despite the discrimination they owned their own businesses and fought their way to survive, put food on the table, and a roof over our heads. This country has systematically disfavored people of color, it needs to change and change starts with you. Cultivate your environment. No one deserves to be treated differently just because of the color of their skin. It hurts my heart to see hate turn into death.

But really though why the elderly?

You’re city balcony doesn’t need to be boring. Spiced up my girl balcony with some real good smelling French lavender. Now when she’s ever stressed she can go outside get some fresh air and be instantly relaxed but the lavender. Plants are mental and physical therapy 🤪🌿
