Reflecting on the humble beginnings of my freelancing journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the winding path that has brought me here. With no one to lean on but my own determination as the breadwinner, I embraced the challenges that came my way. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. Each day was a new opportunity to refine my skills, to offer more valuable services to those seeking assistance. Freelancing, as I've discovered, is a journey marked by financial, mental, and emotional instability. The ebb and flow of income, the mental battles questioning one's value to businesses, and the emotional roller coaster of fleeting projects can be overwhelming. My services are often geared towards achieving short-term goals, and once those goals are met, I find myself at a crossroads. Surprisingly, this roller coaster of a journey has led me to almost four years of being a virtual assistant. It's a testament to the leap of faith I took.
