Emily-AKC Dachshund puppies for rehoming

Took these little hounds to their vet check today. Tomorrow they travel with my husband to Houston where they’ll meet their new families. This was Mocha’s last litter🥺her puppies are always so darn calm and sweet just like her🤎🧡

Our addition is FINALLY complete. We have officially moved in but still have so much work to do unpacking, organizing, landscaping, final touches, etc. etc. I’ll share more pictures (before and after!) once we have everything cleaned up and decorated. Bonus I have a huge laundry room back here too!! What an exhausting process this has been but soooo worth it and the dachshunds are very happy♥️♥️

Matilda’s litter almost 3 weeks old eyes opened and growing!! 2 of Bluebonnet’s 10 days old look so tiny in comparison🥺

Successfully moved 2 of Bluebonnet’s babies to Goldilocks and she’s loving them as her own! Matilda checks in with them to make sure all is ok😃🥰but she has her paws full with 4 puppies plus 2 of Bluebonnet’s. These momma’s are full of love and just rockstars! Bluebonnet is healing well but missing her babies that’s the only heartbreaking part💔

We’ve had an emergency here with our first time momma dog Bluebonnet. She developed an infection and needed emergency surgery on New Year’s Day. She’s home now doing well, but can no longer nurse her puppies due to the strong antibiotics she is on.😭😭I’m so grateful to sweetheart Matilda who has stepped in to care for Bluebonnet’s babies along with her four pups. (And I’m supplementing them all as well.) Please understand if I have missed messages or am slow to respond, my dogs are number 1 priority! ♥️🐾🤞🏻🐾

This sweet and very playful girl is past the puppy phase, completely housetrained, crate trained, great in the car, walks well on leash. (No apartments and she loves kids and other dogs!)

Lincoln X Bluebonnet babies have finally arrived (ER visit required!😩 but all doing well and no csection needed) 💗💗💙💙

Pupdate on Chester the sweet boy I posted about in search of a new family…a wonderful dachshund loving lady flew in all the way from North Carolina to pick him up! So grateful his temp family was willing to get all his vetcare up to date so he could fly back home! A very happy ending for Chester, rescue is so rewarding and there are too many dogs in need.♥️🐾🎄

Cannoli is a live wire chocolate dapple piebald girl from Confetti. 🎉
Their new family is happy to report that they are the best of friends and the MOST fun to have at home. These two are proof that Dachshund puppies really thrive with a buddy. 💕🐾🦴

Limited outside time today due to the heat🔥making the most out of a good run down the back pasture!🌞

Someone is pretty proud of herself bravely making her way into the back pasture like a big girl! A bale of hay was delivered today for the neighbor’s lambs so extra excitement going on!🐑 🐶

He is very social and loves other dogs!

Honeybee’s puppies may not be flashy Dapples (*I get asked if I have dapples a zillion times a day🙄) but they do have her big brown puppy dog eyes and her off the charts sweet loving affectionate laidback personality! These puppies will be awesome family pets and great with kids!!

Past puppies Cannoli and Churro are staying the week with us! They’ve settled right back in and are having fun with the crew. It’s very sweet to see the bond they have! (different litters born a week apart) They’re almost 6 months old and haven’t had a single accident!🤩🫶🏻♥️🤎

One of their favorite pastimes and much needed exercise! It’s been too hot this summer to go run around the back pasture area so they enjoyed the fence line fun🐾😎🤪

Taking a little PTO this weekend for a family wedding so I’ll get back to everyone’s messages Monday or so😉…also had a lot of inquiries about who the little breech taco was so thought I’d share him a gorgeous chocolate and cream boy, he was 4th pup born. Thanks to Betty and Wayne the dogs are in excellent hands and loving all the attention!
