I had SO much fun coaching at HCE in Westminster, MD! I worked with ONYX (Harmony, Incorporated), Vintage Rendition and Recent Edition (BHS)!! ❤️❤️

April brought a trip to Brockville where I had the pleasure of working with The Thousand Islanders of Harmony, Incorporated!! Oh I just love them! Such fun and lots of growth! Will be returning May 8 to give them one last boost before their Area 5 contest!! Woot!! ❤️❤️

In March I also popped in for a second session with the sweet peeps in A Ca****la North! They have grown soooo much since our session back in January!! Awesome sauce!! ❤️❤️

In March I flew into Philly and hitched a ride to JERSEY to work with the amazing and talented Jersey Sound - they worked super hard and we had an absolute blast! Thank you for having me, friends!! Richie keeps asking me back so we must be doing something right!! ❤️❤️

Hey all!! I Am so excited to get back into coaching again!! I am so very proud to be representing Harmony, Incorporated as the musical director of 2022 gold medalists, Northern Blend Chorus, and as 2nd place medalist on baritone with my quartet, Roulette! Barbershop is such a gift, and my heart is so full!

Warm ups for choral rehearsals, voice lessons and classes available on zoom if you’re interested! I’ll be continuing to offer up sessions, but for a small fee (if you aren’t already booked)... Those of us who are musicians and are typically making a living by working as coaches and teachers are struggling right now, too. I’m happy to help you out but would greatly appreciate your help, as well! Offering up a small payment to bring in guests is a lovely gesture, and greatly appreciated! 🙂

Here are some of the things I work on during my sessions, and classes I can do for you if you’re interested!

• Breath management
• Vocal placement
• Resonance
• Singing through the break/passagio
• Bel Canto techniques (from Debra Lynn’s “Bel Canto Buzz”)

I also have the following classes:
• Sight Singing for Dummies
• Integrating Youth into your show
• Fundamentals of Music (beginning theory... would need a couple sessions)
• Virtual Quartetting (a class I did with Lindsay Chartier-Holdeman)
• Warm UPS for the Fun of It (includes a packet of exercises I would go through with you and you can use for future warm ups!)

I’m also happy to do 30-60 minute PVIs, as a singular session or a weekly or bi-weekly session. Whatever fits your schedule! 🙂

Ya know... it’s been less than a week and all my music friends and I MISS SINGING ALREADY!!!

In light of all that is happening out there, and with us being isolated without the chance for us to get together to sing, I’d be happy to work with people one-on-one over ZOOM if you want to do any private voice sessions?!

I can work with people of all ages and would be happy to do so in the evenings when I’m not on call for school. I typically depend on a regular schedule of private voice lesson income to help pay my bills, and without my kidlets coming to me on Tuesday nights, it’ll be pretty hard for us.

No commitment to anything recurring is required, but if you want to try a session and see what you think, hit me up and we will schedule something!

I worked with Fourtissimo today (Jill, Meg, Mary & Gretchen) and they did an awesome job! It was so nice to meet some new Barbershop friends and share some great singing moments! Thanks, ladies!!

Excited to be doing some coaching tomorrow with Fourtissimo, an SAI quartet from the Potsdam area!! ❤️ Yay!!

I would love to do some more coaching this coming year! If you are interested I will be booking going into 2020 and will take 1 or 2 coaching sessions per month (traveling for overnights) and will happily work with groups who want to travel TO me in upstate NY! I will also SKYPE coach if you’d like, and that is super easy!!
