One of the best outdoor writers of our time is the new editor of Catfishnow! Congratulations, Keith Sutton!

They don’t call him “Catfish” for nothing! Keith Sutton of Alexander, Arkansas is known to some as the “dean of catfishing.” Keith’s special insights about catching these whiskered warriors were garnered through more than 50 years of on-the-water research and countless hours of discussions with biologists, researchers and expert anglers.

Of his groundbreaking book “Fishing for Catfish,” which was chosen Best Outdoor Book of 2000 by the Outdoor Writers Association of America, Doug Stange, executive editor of In-Fisherman magazine wrote, “While other books about catfishing have been written, none are so comprehensive in their coverage and so impressive in their illustration of this topic of concern to 10 million catfish anglers. This marks history...”

We are happy to have Keith as our new editor, and we can’t wait to see how he uses his extensive knowledge and experience to help CatfishNOW continue to grow! Please join us in congratulating him on his new role.

Check out this quote from Earl C. Kelley in a 1962 Report of the National Conference on Outdoor Education: “Some good comes from exposure to the out-of-doors because I am convinced that there is some sort of bond between the human organism and the earth from which he sprang. We do not have scientific proof of this as yet, but we see innumerable examples of it. We feel it ourselves. There is a feeling of peace, a disappearance of life's urban problems when one stands and contemplates a great forest or a sunset."
