Here is a closer look at the Bees that I have been drawing. This is still in process but I'm excited about them. Each of them is different but they are all the same. I tried to use different drawing methods to create each of their looks.

I've finally gotten around to working on this project again. This is a vintage picture known as "The Kiss." This is my version of it. All the world has dissolved away and the two sailors are left the moment.

I started a new painting the other day. I got some new ink and wanted to see what I could do with them.

Here is a sneak peek at my new exhibition that will open on Monday October 8th.

I'm excited to announce that I will be having an exhibition in the Student Union Gallery here at Boise State University. Here is the little write up that is being sent to the Arbiter Newspaper here at BSU.

This exhibition of works explores the world of codification and Q***r Abstraction. Codification is the non-verbal communication at the heart of the q***r world and the signs and signals that allow LGBTQIA+ individuals to identify and recognize each other. Q***r Abstraction is in dialogue with art and its signs; it is not always visible but remains unseen and hidden in plain sight.



Influenced by Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Robert Indiana, Ellsworth Kelly, and Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Bybee uses abstraction to talk about q***r identity and life. "We as humans are made of an intersectionality of experiences. These experiences help us to become the complicated people we are today...This intersectionality enables us to all be different."

I wanted to share an update on my wip.

Here is an update on my latest wip. Storytime with a Drag Queen is a service that some Drag Queens perform. It's a great time to entertain people of all ages. Plus most great stories begin with a Queen!

I started a new painting today. I'm excited to see where it goes from here. It kinda reminds me of Jem and the Holograms.

One of my paintings is being used as the poster by the Urban Arts Gallery in Salt Lake City. 3 of my paintings are going to be in the exhibition that runs the month of June. If you're in the area stop by and check out the show.

Here is an update on this project I started the other day.

I started working on another painting yesterday. This is from a picture I took a few years ago during an SCA camping event I was lucky enough to attend. I'm also using some of the watercolor paper that I was using back in 2018.

My painting of the Sandhill Crane and nest is finally done with the framing. The final dimensions are 21x21 inch. It is acrylic ink and paint with colored pencils and sharpie on Watercolor paper. If you're interested in buying this piece I'm willing to talk. Please DM me. I also have some time to do some commission pieces if you're interested. I like to work off of my own pictures. This picture was taken last spring out in Chesterfield Idaho.
