Interpret this HOWEVER you like. BUT, no, it isn’t limited to cosplay: this is open to artist, musicians, dancers, actors, cosplayers and more.

For example, you could create your character and showcase it through ANY MEDIUM. There is no limit to your creativity. We just ask that you tell the story in the caption as well and showcasing whatever you create.

Be sure to check out the rules but know that there is A LOT of room for your to interpret and create as YOU see fit and in whatever format YOU are most comfortable with.

Collaboration is encouraged but the creator that posts will be considered the submission.

ADDITIONALLY the winner will have the option to have a special highlight and feature at Calan Mai: whether an artist showcasing your piece, a dancer performing or cosplayers original character added into the event. This would be decided with the winning created and determined based off of their needs.

I’ve been *struggling* through a total & official rebrand for several months now. It felt like I was saying goodbye to the part of me that started this. I wasn’t, I’ve just grown out of it. I was really lost in the direction I wanted to go. I tried and tried to do it by myself and was just getting so angry with myself. took my ridiculous drawings and ideas and turned them into this, along with sitting through all my indecisive thoughts on fonts, colors, etc. she knew me and brand so well that she got to make magic with me.

This re-brand isn’t finished by any means! It started with updating all my profile pics last night and some of the bios, but don’t worry MORE is to come. I want to *again* completely re-do my website, and get a more cohesive social media presence going.

I also decided to make a seperate account for all the content creation to not mix it in with event details as much (unless it is for events!!) and that page is she still needs edits and content out on her but it’s a slow process!

Anyways, if you read this, bear with me in this season. I’m figuring out me and my direction a little bit more each and every day.
