Red Moon Sessions #040 - Mico
We finally welcome one of the co-founders of Red Moon and Renegade to our Red Moon Sessions!
Raised in Calgary, Canada, Mico moved to Melbourne in November 2017. Within weeks he was baptised by the city's underground dance music culture, made some new best friends, and together they embarked on a journey of untz that continues to this day.
His love for the community and passion for bringing people together have been crucial in making Red Moon the vibrant community that it is, one that promotes freedom, consent, creativity, respect, and love, by hosting gatherings in warehouses, in the bush, on the beach, and at our favorite venues.
A man of the people and a true lover of the deep and progressive, Mico has played to crowds at My Aeon, Revolver, Breakfast Club and Burning Seed, always delivering high quality sets straight from his heart to your ears!
This nearly 2 hour set is a deep melodic journey layered with varied rhythms, with wild and worldly sounds sprinkled throughout.
Although he is currently far far away, he always remains close to our hearts!

Ain’t no Renegade like a Red Moon Renegade 🌚
The tribe was out in full force on Saturday, and our residents played some of best sets I’ve ever heard.
Dan and I weren’t too bad either. We certainly know how to flail our hands in the air!
