We just got our gorgeous journals! Not only are they beautiful, the cover is soft to the touch and the pages are perforated making it easy to tear out if needed. I can’t wait to write my To Do lists in this journal. Amanda and Cali are probably going to use them to take notes in school or to jot down song lyrics ideas and such… 💖💕 Thank you Christiane for designing these beautiful journals. Every woman should have one! 😊💖💐

Why is Provence, France famous for Rosé? In 600 BC, the Greeks brought grape vines to what is now Marseille in southern France and began producing field blends made from both red and white grapes. And what do red and white make? Pink! Centuries later, the Romans landed in Provence, and, having already heard all about the delicious "pink" wines of the area, utilized their widespread trade networks to popularize Rosé all around the Mediterranean. Because of this, Provence, France is considered the epicenter of Rosé today. 😊 Santé!!

Did you ever regret not finishing a bottle the day you opened it?

Typically if use a vacuum seal bottle top clean-crafted wines can taste deliciously up to 5 days after being opened. But put the bottle in your fridge after sealing it: the cold temps slow the chemical reactions, including oxidation. 🚨 And keep in mind that low tannin reds (i.e. Pinot Noir, Grenache, Sangiovese) tend to have the shortest post-cork popping life cycle. So open those with friends! 😉🙃😊

Do your kids ever cook? My daughter made a delicious vegetables soup with her Girl Scout Troop. We all got to enjoy it with a quiche (I made 3 version of quiche, vegetarian, Lorraine and cheese less). My husband decided to pair his dinner with a Cabernet. I on the other hand, felt like having a Grenache! I think the pairing was great with both our choices. I guess our palates and moods also influence the right pairings. 😁

Do you love pairing new wines with delicious recipes?

My husband made an incredible cauliflower steak with shiitake mushrooms, olives, harissa and edible flowers. It was just a bit spicy, yet smooth, buttery and fresh.

It was the perfect pairing with this French Chardonnay from soleil. vent. âme.

Did you ever enjoy yourself with friends drinking delicious wine but then have to suffer the consequences? 🥴

Well, that’s what I did this weekend. My friends and I visited this beautiful winery and enjoyed a splendid afternoon of laughter, delicious foods and wines and most of all great company.

But that night and the day after, I had to deal with a bad headache and an unhappy stomach. 😞

That’s exactly why at home and in places where I can bring my own wine, I now always drink clean-crafted wines....No headaches or stomach issues and my vegan friends can enjoy it with me.
