Bad news for honeybees... the dreaded Asian giant hornet has been sighted for the first time in 2021 in Washington state... this deadly invasive insect is five times bigger than a honeybee... a handful of hornets can wipe out a honeybee hive in hours. That's tens of thousands of bees... dead in a few hours. These hornets are vicious and relentless so the Washington State Department of Agriculture wants residents to know that if you see any of these hornets, watch which direction they fly away in and report the sighting immediately to WSDA...
