Hello again dear (and patient) friends! You may or may not have noticed launch plans at slowed to halt earlier this spring… I can assure you it was for a very special reason 👀🐣🍼

I brought a little bit of vintage with me though, in the form of this cream & tan 00s baguette bag I stole from my mum and a gorgeous 70s linen milkmaid dress with beautiful floral embroidery 🌸🌻🌷

We’re (slowly) lining up our ✨launch plans✨ and I can’t help but reflect on the time & personal growth it’s taken for me to get here… to fulfilling one of my biggest dreams.

Technically has been years in the making, but because launching a shop is something I’d never ever thought I’d be able to do (let alone have the 🤑 to do) I only ever dreamed and schemed about it.

In reality, my husband and I spent our covid-ridden New Years’ talking about it and researching it all, and in just a couple of weeks we’d sourced our first batch of vintage clothes and I was setting up our email, e-commerce and social accounts… 😬

I hate to say it but I am normally a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my passions: if I think I won’t be able to do something I’m invested in to 100% then I won’t even bother trying 😖 what a mindset!

I think we’re leaving that one in 2021 though, because here we are! I’m trusting my intuition a whole lot more, and leaving plenty more room for my creativity & messiness to shine through. And it feels really good because I know it doesn’t have to be perfect! There’s no ‘right way’ to launch a vintage shop so I might as well go for it and see what happens!
