Hey, plant friends! I just wanted to pop in and say that I’ve missed the business and you all so much! We’re all settled in at my husbands new duty station. It’s not MO, but it’s pretty nice here. 🙂 Before we left the FLW area, we passed the torch onto another wonderful family! Jennifer, now owns the trailer and has renamed it, The Fiddly Fig! She’s been out a few times now, so some of you may have already seen her. We love what she’s done with the trailer, and wish her nothing but success! Give her page a follow. I’m sure she’d love to meet all of you! She’s based in Marshfield. 😄

I’ve been avoiding this post for a month because it just makes me so sad…but the Army has decided it’s time for our family to move. We tried so hard to stay at FLW because this is the first duty station that has really felt like home. We truly love this community so much. We want to thank everyone that has supported our little plant business over the past three years. My husband was a drill sergeant and managed to build the plant trailer and kept up with making half moon plant stands in his spare time. We gave this business so much love, and we got so much support along the way! The excitement I was able to bring to customers when they picked out a plant they loved gave me so much joy, and I’m going to miss it so much. So again, thank you for the best time. I loved every minute.

-If anything changes and we get to stay, I’ll update you all. We’re still trying, but it’s pretty slim.

We’re back from visiting family and we’ve got plants to sell for lower prices! Come see us tomorrow at the Pulaski County Farmers' Market! We’ll be there from 8a-4p. All hanging baskets will be $20 and most plants that are usually $18-$20 will be $15, plus deals for the smaller ones as well. We’ll be out Saturday and Sunday this weekend! First up, back to the Pulaski County Farmers' Market! We’ll be there this Saturday from 8a-12p.

Then on Sunday, we’ll be in Springfield for the The 3rd Annual Great Plant Exchange, put on by Hickory Lane Plants and Lawson Plant Co! It’ll be at the Relics Event Center from 12p-4p! They will have local vendors providing plants and plant related items, giveaways, and a safe space to swap plants with other plant lovers in the community!

We’re so happy to announce that we’re supplying houseplants to Thistle & Quince LLC! Kathleen makes absolutely beautiful flower arrangements and is located at Massage Effect Wellness Center in St. Robert. I bought a wreath from her last fall and it was so unique and stunning! There’s so much time and talent that goes into every piece she creates. Don’t miss out!

We have a very busy weekend coming up! First, we have the amazing Strawbwrry Festival with Ozark Farms! May 13th, 10a-4p. This one looks so fun and we’re so excited to be a part of it this year! And then after that, we’ll be at the Baker Creek Spring Planting Festival! That one will be May 14th and 15th! This festival was massive last year and I just know this year will be just as great!

Buuuut, I wanted to share some exciting photos of our weekend. Thank you all for sharing that we’re also beekeepers!

We had an awesome weekend, saving more bees! We got notified of a swarm on Saturday and realized after we collected them that they had come from a massive hive close by in the woods! They were in a huge hollow tree, right by a park. My amazing husband extracted this hive, almost totally by himself because I was getting the new plant order today. He finished just before the storm hit! We named the new hive, the Eras Hive because I’m a massive Swiftie! The queen will be named, Queen Taylor, and her workers are her Swiftbees 😂 ❤️

Shout out to Daniela Braw DY and her husband, for being amazing hosts while we took care of the swarm and the hive! Her kids were fearless! Loved their curiosity!

Thank you, for sharing our post about being available for swarm catching! We got a text from one of our customers, Christina Gore! (Sorry, I tried to tag you but it wouldn’t let me) Anyway, this was such a cool experience and the bees are doing great in their new home! We recently found the queen 👑 She’s in the last picture. Then, we’ll be back for this years Baker Creek Tulip Festival! It was absolutely amazing last year! There will be garden tours, speakers, many vendors, and the restaurant, stores and seed shop will be open. Baker Creek is the largest Heirloom Seed Company in the country, so don’t miss out! Hey, everyone! Wesley and I are new beekeepers this year, and we’ve gained some experience with catching swarms! We want to help save the local honeybees and keep them safe! I know this is our business page for houseplants, but I figured I’d throw this info on here to reach more people.

Spring is here! Honeybees may start swarming! What does that mean?

• Swarming is bees natural means of reproduction.
• Swarms are not aggressive, they don't have any brood or resources to defend.
• There's no need to be afraid of them, and DON’T spray them!
• Sometimes a swarm will take up residence in unwanted places, like your shed, soffit, or wall of your home which leads to expensive removal and repairs.

Hey, everyone! I’m sure you’ve all been wondering where we’ve been over the last month. It’s been really busy for us. We had a family emergency come up in December. (Don’t worry, we’re all fine!) But it’s going to be difficult to help with that situation, and also sell plants. So after a lot of thought, we’ve decided to officially pause for the winter. We’ll be back, better than ever in the spring! 🌷🌿🌱 We can’t wait to see you all again at the markets and shows, and we hope you all have a wonderful next few months!
