September Highlight! Loved spending time with the newest inductees of Leadership McAllen at the Class LXIII Retreat and leading them through some team building exercises. It’s a great group and I know they’ll go far and do much for the City of McAllen. It was an honor to come back and still be part of the tribe even though I retired in May. Thx for giving me the opportunity.

Truly a game changer

Growth is a journey, not an endpoint. It requires intentional effort and dedication to maintain the tension between where we are currently and our potential. Without this tension, it's almost impossible to continue growing as individuals or organizations – it’s just too easy for us to become complacent about our current successes.

The truth is that the most successful people in any field embrace growth in all areas of their lives: professionally, emotionally, spiritually – you name it! They never get comfortable with their current achievements because they understand that growth only happens when they challenge themselves to strive higher than before. So don't let yourself lose sight of your ambitions; always keep pushing forward and challenging yourself to be better than yesterday.

Finally, remember that growth isn't about competing with others; it's about finding a way to push yourself beyond your own limitations. When you do that, no matter how small the improvement may seem in the moment, you're on a path towards huge successes and personal fulfillment.
