❤️❤️🤩 wanted to show off my mini beaded peak cap ornaments and my awesome stand Jon gifted me,i got two stands and always wanted to use them,i love it !! I Just realized I started beading in 2015 , a year after I inherited my Godmothers beads, RIP godmother Vera ,another year later I inherited my other auntys bead stash,RIP Aunty Becky , both awesome women 👑👑, me and my sister Kelly went half’s on both stashes, it don’t feel like it’s been that long but seeing my bead work these days surly shows how much time and practice I put into it 🤍❤️🤍 forever grateful and feeling blessed.
Beading is medicine for me 🥰

Cabs are from DeeDee Willie designs, i love her cab collections, she has a lot of goodies , i noticed a thank you for supporting my small business sticker , your welcome and thank you, DeeDees small business helps me with my small business. This is what I’ll be doing all weekend if you don’t see me out and about lol

I love all the support and shout outs,orders and opportunities to teach about my bead work, thank you guys, normally my stock if full during the summer because I bead all winter and evenings, I jump from making earrings to awareness pins etc, last year took a toll on my creativeness, I missed a lot of craft events and opportunities because I didn’t have time to sit and bead with a clear head, being around other artisans always fills my heart, the ideas to create is endless and I love it , I missed being there last year, I’m healing and beading is helping, grounding me when I feel overwhelmed, I also realized my beadwork is being missed ❤ I’m glad I got my vibe back, I made a few dozen earrings but then my orange beads came in and I’m excited.
it’s hard to be selfish when I’m beading red dresses/orange shirts, I remember the struggles our people went through that attended these schools, I look around at our people now and know our people are resilient and strong, we bend and sometimes almost to the breaking point but we always reach out and help each other heal, healing is giving our next generation and place our grandparents wanted , their pain and suffering didn’t go unnoticed. Their growth and bringing back our culture is the key to keeping it lnu and being resilient ❤️💛🖤🤍🧡
I’m blessed to be able to bead and show awareness on important topic of mine.
