Sent this to a friend and it is something I wanted to openly share here.

I thought I'd share a scripture with you. Everyone always says The Joy of the Lord is my strength but doesn't explain how to get that joy. We do things that are pleasant like setting up a good meal. We sing joyful songs. We pray prayers of thanksgiving. Dwelling on what God has given us. This helps us be filled with thoughts and feelings of joy. I know sometimes people just toss out scriptures but without understanding of what they mean they can't help. I hope my explanation of this one helps you find joy and keep fighting the good fight.

Nehemiah 8:10
“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

The Gospel is the standard we should abide by. It is a true unifying power.

I don’t know about everyone else but all I see & hear about Coronavirus (COVID-19) is all the negative. God’s Word in Proverbs 18:21 says, Death & life are in the power of the tongue: & they who love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
So I’m going to choose to speak life, not death over this disease! Romans 4:17 says, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he (Abraham) believed, even God, who quickeneth (give life to, make alive) the dead, and called those things which be not as though they were. Abraham believed God & my choice is to believe God through this pandemic.
Mark 11:22-23 says, 22) And Jesus answering saith unto them, “Have faith in God. 23) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed & be thou cast into the sea; & shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Hen. 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It sure doesn’t look good at all but I choose faith over fear. Vs 6 says...But without faith it is impossible to please Him (God): for he that comets to God must believe He is, & that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Isaiah 41:10 says....Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be thou not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.
Now, with all this being said, yes, I have chosen to speak a good outcome, that the end of this virus is here. I choose to speak that it is not going to get worse & all that the doctors & all say but I also am choosing to use wisdom. God gave us wisdom, He gave us good judgment & I’m doing everything I can to keep this from spreading, staying home, washing my hands, etc but my words are going to be faith spoken words! I pray that every faith believing Christian will flood FB with words of faith & not of fear! Words that God promises us & not what it looks like. I pray that God gives the scientists, doctors & the President & all government wisdom. I pray that every lost soul will seek God & will see that Christians are moving in faith. I understand & more importantly, God understands that we get tired, weak & that our faith may waver but we don’t have to park there. Read Psalm 91 & speak that no evil will befall thee, neither shall any plaque come nigh my dwelling. I don’t want to sound mean or harsh, I just choose to believe God’s Word not what Satan wants me to believe. God bless us all!
