Amanda's Diaper Cakes is an in-home small business operation in Southwest Omaha, NE. Hello, everyone! So here I go! I will add more as I do different projects.
In response to popular demand, I have decided to start my own diaper cake business. I have been doing these for friends, co-workers, baby showers and birthday parties for the past few years, and many people have told me that I should make them for other people. It will be a small business venture just run out of my home in Southwest Omaha. I will start taking orders for cakes immediately and will
fill each order within 1 week (for rushed orders, there may be an additional charge). Since this is just beginning, I have just a few pictures of cakes I have done before. Please feel free to bring in/text/message a picture of what you would like and we can make it happen! The pricing of the cakes will vary depending on how many tiers you would like, the brand of diapers requested, and any add-ons you may like. Cakes come in a round shape, ranging from one tier to four tiers. Unless you have a particular brand that you would like, I use the generic brand of diapers from Walmart (Parent’s Choice). Add-ons can include just about anything, from all things baby to basic ribbon and silk flowers. The sky is the limit on decorating, so follow your imagination! I know that we are all following a budget, and as such it is my goal to keep these as affordable as possible. It should also be noted that 100% of the proceeds from my first two months of business (6/23-8/23) will be donated to the Mali Project. I am working as a partner with Christ Community Church during this time to raise funds for the country of Mali, specifically the villages of Koutiala, Farakala, and Mougna. These villages are in desperate need of medical facilities for women and children, particularly clinics that have a maternity ward. For video links and more information on the specific needs in Mali, you can go to cccomaha.org and click on the Mali Project. As a mother of a one year old (and a woman who endured childbirth in the most clean and comfortable of facilities), I felt like this was a project that I could definitely be a part of and stand behind. Any additional free-will donations can be given at the time of your diaper cake purchase, or if you prefer you can donate at cccomaha.org. Just click on the Mali Project and there will be several options including text donation, giving through My CCC, or PayPal.
