Very grateful & reflective today as Thoughtful Things USA - formerly A Few Thoughtful Things is 4 years old!
🏔️My Journey🪴
I started on Etsy to fill the time with something positive during Covid (remember that fun time?!), bringing my love for crafting & giving thoughtful gifts together. Since then so much has happened along the way; successfully selling on Etsy in the UK, a website & blog (soon to be resurrected), a magazine feature, a podcast feature, moving to America, and relaunching here... it's been a whirlwind!
Thank you to my customers, my family & friends support, my husbands patience & love, and some self-love for sticking with it through the good & tough times!

With this fresh Capricorn season energy, which is also my Sun sign, I've felt this shift heading into 2024 and know it's all about the new and looking forward, as well as looking inward and using both simultaneously.
I am planning on using 2024YOU in many ways as I move throughout the year, but I feel we should also keep in mind that things will crop up that we can't foresee or control.
So for 2024YOU I am going to dive into...

I LOVE making my own Christmas decorations & festive things, they feel so personal and usually have a great story to go with!
For example, the pine cones I collected are from the first year I was living in Virginia - then I just cleaned them and dry brushed white glittery paint on the tips!
And the Fairy I made for the top of our tree was based on a fairy my Mum part made when I was little for the top of the family tree! ✨
