Giant 16th-Century ‘Colossus’ Sculpture In Florence, Italy Has Entire Rooms Hidden Inside.
This epic colossus, half man, half mountain, was erected in the late 1500s by renowned Italian sculptor Giambologna as a symbol of Italy’s rugged Appenine mountains. This mountain god, fittingly named Appennino, stand 35 feet tall over the ground of the Villa di Pratolino in Tuscany.
The rugged, mountainous statue hides a wonderful secret – his interior hides several rooms with different functions that made this colossus come to life. The monster that his left hand holds spewed water from an underground stream, and it is rumored that space in his head was made for a fireplace which, when lit, would blow smoke out of his nostrils.

A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation. I bought you a car a while back. I want you to have it now."
Before I give it to you, take it to a car dealer in the city and sell it. See how much they offer.”

The girl came back to her father and said: "They offered me $10,000 dollars because it looks very old"
Father said: "Ok, now take it to the pawn shop".

The girl returns to her father and said: "The pawn shop offered $1,000 dollars because it's a very old car and a lot of work done".

The father told her to join a passionate car club with experts and show them the car. The girl drove to the passionate car club. She returned to her father after a few hours and told him, “Some people in the club offered me $100,000 dollars because its a rare car that's in good condition.”

Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place. If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place. "Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value ."

Veteran journalist and Kenya’s first female news anchor Catherine Kasavuli has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

In a message, KBC Managing Director Samuel Maina announced the news and urged well-wishers to donate blood.

“Dear friends, colleagues and well-wishers. Our dear colleague Catherine Kasavuli is hospitalized at the KNH Private Wing after being diagnosed with cervical cancer. For those who can, she needs a blood transfusion urgently. Your prayers and moral support will be very welcome,” reads a message from Maina.

She is a universal recipient and any blood group will do.

Kasavuli made a triumphant return to Kenyan screens at the end of July 2021, after eight years after leaving the spotlight to concentrate on business-related matters.

She signed a contract with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), where she is currently hosting weekend news.

Kasavuli began her career in 1980 as a radio continuity announcer at the Voice of Kenya, which was later renamed KBC.

Later, in 1985, Kasavuli would switch over to television at the company. After working for two years without any prior professional training, Kasavuli enrolled in the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.

Catherine joined the founding group of KTN, the nation’s first privately owned television station, in March 1990. She changed the station’s pre-recorded format and was the first anchor to broadcast live.

After working for KTN for 17 years, Kasavuli left the network in 2007 to work for Royal Media Services’ Citizen TV, where she later held the position of corporate affairs manager. In 2015, Kasavuli retired from the spotlight to work behind the scenes.
