A masterpiece created by joint forces with my talented daughter. 👩🏻‍🎨🎨🖼
We sat together and told each other story of what’s happening and what we are drawing. Thus the fairytale and fairyland 🧚🏼🧚🏻‍♀️🦄 were born. Here evil crab 🦀 with the help of nasty dragon 🐉 and evil witch 🧙‍♀️ tried to eat all plants. The fish 🐟 helped all magic creatures to save the world 🌈✨🌸

These past few days I was baking like crazy! Made more than 100 cookies, decorated them with my kids, then made macaroons and today baked 2 batches of cupcakes 🧁 One of my friends laughed at me and asked who had more fun - me or the kids on this Halloween. I couldn’t answer this question 😅
How did you celebrate? Do you do anything special on this day?

Spooky Halloween 👻 🎃💀 approaches.
At my house we are getting ready in advance. Plan for tonight - cookie decoration (baked 126 last night 😵‍💫). Good that I have my messy helpers to join in this uneasy task (I promise to share pictures of the process and final results later tonight).
Tomorrow plan is to make macaroons - for the first time. Can’t wait to try this 😁

As I said many times before, my inspiration comes from nature. All the beauty around me gives plenty of ideas. Sometimes so many that I cannot realize them all 😅
Trakai, a tiny spot on a world map, is a fairytale land in real life. are famous for their medieval castle on the lake. It is one of our family favorite locations all year round. And, obviously, it gave an idea for a pillow 🤩

Love my city! Did you know, that Vilnius is the only capital in Europe where it is allowed to fly hot air balloon’s over the city?! It so amazing! Imagine - your ride with bikes can end-up with observation of balloon lift-off from up-close 🤩🎈🎐

I just finished a digital painting and called it “Summer dreams in autumn”. Haven’t done one for a while. It can be printed quite big - 79x47”. (2x1 meters). Hope you like it :)

And how he loves to chat! When he starts his chitchats at 6 in the morning, I forget all my love to him. But he says “good morning “, purrs a little and then goes back to sleep. By the time he falls asleep, my alarm goes off and it’s time to start my day. Then I look at my cat, sleeping soundly on my bed and I wake him up 😆 There has to be balance in life 😁

Balloons! It brings so much joy to me! I feel like a child watching them flying up in the sky ❣️

I stumbled upon many balloons getting ready for lift off while riding my bike. Spent some time observing all the people gathered for this unique experience: fly with them or just watch them, same as me.

No matter how many times you see a balloon in the sky. It’s always a unique experience somehow 😍

Sundays are all about having some alone time, recharging batteries, and, maybe, reading a book. ☺️

A year ago I have finished a project so close to my heart and very important to me❤️
I have painted on the walls of the charity organization Mamų unija. They have built a home for kids suffering from cancer to live comfortably near hospital while waiting for treatment. It’s amazing what people with big hearts can achieve 😍
I have decorated two rooms with birds, obviously 😊
Second room is for kids with more severe condition, so I painted a lot of different birds and flowers so that a child, lying in bed, could look at and not get bored.

It feels like summer! Warm, breezy, green, but with an autumn upgrade - mornings has a hint of frost perfume in the air. Just looove it 🥰💛🍃❄️

Sometimes I like to train my hand on bigger space. for example, to decorate a wall 😁 this spot behind TV was calling for a painting. The idea was for it to be hidden, as secret.
When I was little, we used to make hidden pictures from flowers, leaves and candy foil (if we were lucky enough to have one). We would bury them in some hidden place and call it “secret”. It was not allowedto tell anyone about this sacred spot as it was supposed to make your wishes come true if no one found and ruined your flower picture 🌺🌸🌼

Few years ago I had a limited series 100% handmade and unique handbags.

The idea was to make something special for those who want to be one in million. I don’t know about you, but it annoys me to meet someone in the party with exactly the same bag, jewelry or clothing. This was my way to become more individual 😁

The project is long over and I don’t think I’m going to repeat it any time soon, but I still feel very nostalgic for it 🥰

Take out the pillow filling (the fluffy part) 🪶
Turn it inside-out 🔄
Put pillowcase in the washing machine with other matching color laundry 🧺
Set the temperature to 85-105 Fahrenheit (30-40 Celsius) 🌡
Do not tumble-dry❗️
Iron while it is inside-out 🥌
When it is clean and nice, turn it back to see the picture, put fluffiness back in and enjoy! 🥰

This picture represents best how I see my father. Strong, lost in his thoughts, intimidating. But at the same time, loving, caring, but shy to show his feelings.
My dad never was a classic “dad” person. He had his own, sometimes unconventional approaches for educating me and my sister. But as far as I remember, I always wanted to follow his steps, but his charisma and super strong personality both charmed and scared me.
To this day I vividly remember him drawing, sketching, making stage models for the upcoming play in theater. It was my favorite time in the evening - just to sit there and watch him work. And those moments in his untidy studio! Magical! All the brushes and a stray cat he fed…
I am grateful to him pushing me forward, inspiring to see magical things, not to be trapped by the opinions of “others”, for teaching to have my own strong will. I love you, daddy.

Today my daughter had an eye surgery. Nothing major, nothing serious, but when your kid lies asleep in the surgery, this view can make all the world stop. 🥺

When she was returned to her hospital room, she was sleeping for few hours. Such a sad view - that patched eye… My sleeping beauty.
She woke up and everything was ok - surgery went fine and the same evening we were making marshmallows. 🥰

Today I celebrate positivity and life.

Oh, I remember this couple so well! Future bride ordered a pillow to commemorate the wedding day. They both love Japanese culture, so I painted them under a blooming sakura tree 🌸. What could be more Japanese than this. Maybe sushi 🍱, but then the picture would be less romantic, in my opinion 😁
Few years passed and I still remember them. No wonder I chose this memory for remodeled design - a couple under a blooming mimosa tree.

My wish is that this pillow becomes a lucky charm for any couple having it in their home

I remember well this late evening of 2016 when I painted pillow for a boy who at the time was reading all Astrid Lindgren books. the smile did not faint from my face while painting this story about Karlsson on the roof - full of joy and silly mischief. It is perfect for a kid with vivid imagination 🪶

A little bit of story behind Pixie Gifts. A few years ago I had a dream to create a unique personalized gift i.e. pillows with the warmest wishes reflecting special moments of my friends and their family. After a while, I had to leave this project on a temporary pause, with a hope to get back to it when the time is right.
That time has come this year. Because of the pandemic and plenty of time in quarantine I took up my pencils and brushes and continued to create what I love-Art.
