The universe has heard us. ✊🏾
...don’t ever for any moment underestimate how powerful we are.
A reminder that it is okay to feel how you feel in response to the verdict today. For some of us it’s release, for some bus it brings up more pain and sorrow, for some of us we are overflowing with tears of joy or tears of sadness. Wherever you are, allow yourself to be present with yourself and to feel for this moment is huge in history. All my love and prayers for George Floyd and his family.
It’s ✊🏾👑 let’s spread positive images of us! We love this image of and her beautiful daughter. 🖤🖤🖤
We are not accepting less. Not anymore. Not today. Not ever. A reminder to our beautiful community. Anger is okay. Anger is valid. Sadness is okay. Sadness is valid. We mourn. And we do not accept anything less than justice.
We are stopping the gaslighting (aka accusing blacks people of using “the race card” when they speak out about racism) and putting words to our experiences, setting boundaries, no longer being “tolerant” of inhumane treatment, and taking care of our mental health as a result of racism trauma. 💛 Dear ...you are loved. You are goddesses. Crying does not make you weak, being vulnerable does not mean harm will come to you. It is okay to just be YOU and all that makes you you. It’s time to provide safe spaces for our black women and black girls to allow us to learn how to experience our emotions and then heal. image via 💛
Growing up black...it’s time to learn that it’s okay to cry. Although not always accepted, we are a race that has always had to be strong, show no weaknesses in a world that preys on them. But now, we can give ourselves permission to feel, to cry, and to heal. 🙏🏾☀️ Minority Mental Health image via art

What is ? By 💛 it is no secret that the trauma of being Black in America and at times, we have fallen prey to division...often done psychologically. Our community up until now, has reflected this. Our hearts continue to remain heavy. Heaven gained a queen 👑. 19 year old Nigerian-American activist for Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau was found dead 6 days after sharing a tweet about the offender of her sexual assault trauma. Tallahassee has yet to open up an investigation. Our Black community continues to grieve and ask when will it end? How can we heal? We are dedicated to helping our community heal and stop injustice together. It’s important that we take time to grieve. Image via 🖤
“Say Their Names” by for 🖤✊🏾
A speciality to raising our in America, especially our ...that we are not what they say we are, what they teach us we were in schools, how they depict us in media. We are power. We are bright. We are unstoppable. We are excellence. Raise our children via empowerment, to be mentally strong and self-assured. 📸
THIS right here 🙌🏾 words by 🤍🤎 to the ones who are silent...only here for the parts of us they understand.
My name is Andromeda! I’m a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and mindfulness. I’m a model and Miss United States 2018. 👑 I love helping others, but I’ve learned from witnessing my own family and in our other black families, the discrepancies of mental health resources in our black community. We’ve discussed the stigma around getting help but there’s so more need for discussion around intergenerational trauma stemming from centuries of oppression and racism. It’s time to put words to these experiences and put words to what it looks like and feels like to heal and get help. Bringing these healthy discussions and resources to our community is a must. Thank you for following along this journey to healing for our Black community. I will be sharing tips and knows that I continue to gain as a therapist and ways we can unite to heal together! 🤎🤍
Have you taken any time to check in with yourself lately? With ongoing exposure to , our emotions of rage, grief, shock, disbelief have been activated. After centuries of oppression, where do all of these pint up emotions go? We don’t see a lot of relatives in , but now more than ever is time to be the game changer and take care of your emotional state while leading this evolutionary state of our communities. Our lives matter and the quality of our mental health matters too as we continue to lead global change. 🖤
