A couple of days wait before I post it as I am at the Gold Coast . It’s hot and sunny here and I am in SHORTS .

“Woman’s work “ is off to Victoria tomorrow”
Finding a box to pack it was a bit troublesome but I managed to do it with lots of packing tape . Just another thing women do. Aren’t we great!!

“A romantic waltz” interesting just using luminous transparent paints. Think I’ll go back to bright colours now.

Excited and honoured to have a large artwork in the Brisbane Rotary art show and 2 in the digital catalogue.Can’t wait to see it hung along with the work of talented artists.

Nothing more affirming than seeing one of your paintings on a gallery wall - (other than someone loving it and buying it!)

“World of wonder”
Using all my luminous paints. 😃

I called this “women’s work”.
That’s why it’s so BUSY. Get my drift all you women out there— especially those are struggling to find time to paint as well.

Bit of a drive up to Ipswich for the show but at least I got a “highly commended “ in the mixed media and a third in the acrylic section- so worth the drive.

Staff picked once again by bluethumb. Just need to sell it now. I would love to see this on someone’s wall because it’s big and bright. Wish me luck !!

Grouping together.
It took me three days of procrastination to start this one. Probably because it was an expensive large canvas with a lovely frame. I always find this a bit daunting. Once I started though I was fine. 😃

I took a boring photo of a hedge then zoomed in and manipulated the image with my camera to achieve an inspiration for this abstract

I added something to “don’t forget me” then re posted it. I think it has more focus now. Funny how when we wait for a while we can see what a painting needs to make it complete. Wish I wasn’t so impatient to post then I have to go back to bluethumb and redo everything.
Ah well ! That’s the life of an artist!! 🥹
